A great book to get you started on your first dinner party. From planning what to eat, when to have it, and who to invite. Everything from weeks before to the day after. Even if you aren't a great cook, it will help you set yourself up for a great evening.
Ashley Hite
This is a great step by step beginners guide to hosting a great dinner party. Easy to follow tips and tricks to make party preparations less stressful. It even includes sample menus and recipes.

I was inspired to write this book by a conversation I overheard on a train. Two young women were debating how you would go about holding a dinner party, and as a one-time event planner I knew I could help if I just had the time to talk to them. Not possible at the time, so I wrote this book for all those that don't know where to start.
