Great story

As with all of allies books . There is a great story with substance. There was just that right amount of romance and and you can't help but fall in love with the characters.. I can't wait to read more about the wheeler boys and there lives. And I hope it will continue with more about Nash and Callie.

Oh this book was great I really felt Callie's pain losing not just one member of her family but all of them. I felt said for lou who also lost someone but was there for her and felt like a daughter. Nash was just great he was the best, he wouldn't take no for an answer and insisted in being with callie even if she wanted to be alone. He was a great "neighbor" boyfriend for her, can't wait to read his brothers story's too.

Next to Me is the first in a series of standalone novels featuring the Wheeler brothers. This book is about Nash, the oldest brother, and his neighbor, Callie. The next book, Give Us a Chance, features Jake and Ivy.

While looking for another book to read, I came across a synopsis that reminded me of this book. I remembered liking this so I decided to re-read it. I never wrote a review so here goes...

Reading this for the second time has not changed my opinion of this book. It is very sweet. We meet Callie and Nash right away and read both of their points of views.

Callie lost her whole family in a tragic accident and has been stuck in the denial stage of grief for over a year. My heart breaks for her. She is

5 Stars!!! Allie Everhart is brilliant!
The characters are so believable in this book.

Callie is sweet, tortured & broken just trying to make it through each day. Tragedy struck her family & she is unable to move on with her life.

Nash is funny, warm & incredibly hot!!! Persistence should be his middle name as he's trying to get to know his neighbor but she is stubborn & private.

This book captured me right from the start. It is really funny and has so many layers.

I love it. My previous read has almost the same theme as this one but after comparing both of it, I prefer the flow of this one better. Despite the other one having a darker tone. This is one is more realistic and emotional and I cried so bad for Callie. And Nash, you're the man!

Really really enjoyed this book. Loved Callie. Such a strong, caring girl. Completely understand what she was doing. Very sad and heartbreaking but heartwarming book. And Nash wow what a man he is. Brill read. xxxx

Wow loved this book, I was hooked from the first page. I will never understand what Callie went through in her young life I couldn't even imagine. But wow what a story and a great outcome thanks for the Allie Everheart.

A year after the death of her family, Callie is struggling to move. Sticking to a daily routine is her way is her way to avoid dealing with the loss. Then someone moves into the house next door and disrupts that routine.

Callie is a very sympathetic character. The circumstances around the lost of her family leave her with questions that plague her everyday. Her way of dealing with it is to follow her strict routine and avoid the subject.

Nash is the upbeat neighbour that despite Callie's reluctanc

I loved this book it made me cry thru most of it. I can relate with the girl about losing family and trying to get over the loss it is hard but in time the loss is easier to deal with. I can not wait to get the other brothers and hope they are just as heart warming as this one. Thank you so much for letting me win this book

Great as always thank for the very good read.

Allie I wonder if you did a book 9 to the Jade series the part where Garret's mother comes back because you have covered everything else of the original story but to me not the last bit because that actually finished the other one and was hoping you would consider doing one. Thanks again for the very good read.

Another great book from Allie. At first I wasn't going to read this series but after reading The Jade Series and the Kensingtons I figured why not? I'm glad I did. I recommend any book that she writes. I love spilt perspectives. Great book!

Loved!

I have loved Allie Everhart since I started reading The Jade series and she didn't disappoint with Nash and Callie's story. It was such an emotional roller coaster but so worth the ups and downs. I cannot wait to read Jakes story!

Good story but it did drag in parts. Callie was a tiresome character but Nash was great. Allie writes swoon worthy fictional book boyfriends.

4.5 stars!

I've known about this author's books since she released her first book in the Jade series, but for some reason I haven't read any of her books! I have almost all of them on my Kindle, so I have no idea why I haven't read them yet! I discovered this book last month and it sounded amazing and the cover is stunning, so I waited for it to release and read it as soon as I could! I'm so happy I've finally read a book from this author though because I loved this book! It was perfect and exact

Next To Me is a love story of two people finding each other when least expected. It’s a slow burn of friendship turn lovers story. That is full of sweet and trying moments.

Callie has been living life doing the same routine over and over for more than a year. She lost her parents and brother over a year ago, but still can’t live with the grief of losing them. Instead of trying to live life for her love ones lost, she chose to live in a stand still. Yes she works and goes to t

Nash is officially one of my many Knights and shining armor!

For anyone who has lost someone and doesn't know how to deal with it, this you should read. There's lessons to be learned. I should know since I myself, has lost two important people in my life within a eight month gap. It's hard, but when it came to Callie's struggles, she never thought it could ever be possible to move on with her life after losing her entire family. She became a hermit. And never invited people into the house she and

Good Read!! I really enjoyed this book. Nash is one of my new book boyfriends. OMG loved me some Nash. But what's not to love? A tall, hot muscular guy with a sense of humor, has a sensitive side and has beautiful baby blue eyes and is good with his hands!! If that's not a recipe for the perfect guy, then I don't know what is lol. As for Callie, I liked her but I can't say I loved her. I enjoyed the banter between her and Nash. I loved how he would never take no for an answer. But Callie's indec ...more

So sad but beautiful are two words to describe this book. Poor Callie had suffered so much tragedy in her past and had no life for herself . She had become practically a hermit, if it weren't for her part time job.

Nash is the hottie that moved in next door and I loved how they met. It was hilarious and you could tell Callie was fighting to stay within herself and yet wanting to get to know Nash. She was so scared to open up her heart again.

One thing I loved about Nash is that he was persistent.

I am a fan of Allie Everhart’s books. She wrote the Jade Series and I devoured those. This particular series can be either or. “The Wheeler Brothers Series” can be read as a in order; or, each book CAN be read as a standalone. So if you decided to start on book 3 (when it comes out) and move backwards, you probably will be fine.

This was the first one of the series and I must say I give it a solid 5 Hearts! It was great from start to

I asked my wife for a romance suggestion, and this is what she recommended. I don't typically read romance. The first half of the book went quick as I learned about Callie and Nash and their pasts in alternating chapters. Then it slowed down quite a bit as the same scene repeated itself over and over - they'd work, have dinner together and talk, Callie wouldn't tell Nash what was on her mind - and I was getting frustrated. My wife urged me to finish it, which I did, and it wrapped up nicely. It' ...more

I absolutely freaking loved this book it was perfect. Callie lives in guilt and the what ifs that could've changed everything but because of this she finds it hard to move on in her life not that she's really wanting to but then one day Nash turns up claiming the house next door and slowly she begins to warm up to him but not really letting him completely in. She has a whole past he doesn't know of and she would rather leave it that way but when everyone else knows of it, it makes it hard to kee ...more

Great book

I loved Nash and Callie's story. It took awhile but it really showed the time and effort Nash and Callie has to face before anything can really begin.

Nash is my favorite he's a gentleman that treat women with respect and doesn't do one night stands and can't stand cheaters. He knows how to read people and it so caring but can put them in their place.

Callie was rough at first, she was so closed off and most of the book it's like pulling teeth. But grief doesn't come with guidelines. And

If you are looking for a cute romance/quick read, look no further. I throughly enjoyed both of the main characters in this read. I appreciate the message of learning to move on from love and loss but not in the typical fashion most YA books try to illustrate. Although, the romance did not overpower the entire book as a whole as well. I enjoyed that they were able to get to know each other, in addition not depending on the romance to tell the story. Overall great quick read. Would recommend if yo ...more
