Definitely better than book 2 in the series - and thankfully the characters didn't fall into the "I know what's best for you" pit of despair. Kate Rudd is always fabulous on audio.
The last thing single mom Casey Anderson-Bovier needs is bad boy rock star Zane Steele staying at her hotel. She is dealing with her ex-husband and does not need the complication, Zane could bring. Zane though is there to be under the radar and knowing Casey's opinion of him hits him harder than he thought. Zane knows he wants Casey and is willing to take his time earning her trust, but with her ex and his past there will they be able to weather the storm that is brewing.
Highly entertaining, had a twist I did not see coming. I liked Casey a lot, she didn't swoon immediately for Zane's charms. I also appreciated the interaction with Casey's sons, it was believable and you could easily visualize it. Wonderful read, perfect to take to the beach.
Another wonderful emotionally charged romance by Ms.Baumann. I just loved Zane and Casey as a couple. She so deserved to have her happy ending after that for that she used to be married to. Can't wait to read Ben's story next. Happy ☺reading 📚!
I just like these books. They're not super deep and the steamy scenes aren't over the top hot. But cute and sweet and fun. Mostly realistic. Need one more for the last brother to get the girl and it's complete for me. Looking forward to it.
I am really enjoying this series. The stories are very entertaining, There are some great characters. This one is about Casey and Zane. These two made a great couple. They had some great chemistry together. Real and genuine. There is sex but it is nicely written and does not take over the story. Very enjoyable series! Great narration by Kate Rudd. (audible review) The story line and plot was good. I liked the twin brother twist. I also liked that her kids were good and decent not bratty little jerks. I love it when the author writes about good kids. The story flowed so nicely and was very easy to follow. There was a lot of dialogue throughout the whole book and it wasn't full of filler nonsense.
As for the narrator, she did a fantastic job. Really like her narrations, The men sound like men, she has a very nice reading voice and reads with emotion as called for or sometimes with her mouth full of food as called for. LOL It's so great when an author narrates as the story is written, ie laughing, coughing, choking, whispering etc..
This was a free read free read free listen with my KU subscription! Great deal!
I just love these books so easy to follow and light relief if you are reading a heavy violent thriller that I am reading along side this. Tamra Baumann has based this the third book in the instalment in the same town and she manages to work past characters into the books with ease. This time the story is based on the elder sister of the family who virtually run the Town where everyone who lives there or moves there have to sign a contract not disclosing the antics of the rich and famous celebrities, and it’s a place that the celebrities can roam around freely without being chased for photos etc.
The elder sister runs the Towns hotel and this time one of the guests is a highly successful rock star who knows how to live it up and create carnage wherever he goes. When he arrives his reputation does not seem to match the public figure on the tv. There is a twist and we find out that all is not what it seems.....

You know, I'm all for a light and breezy romance novel. I get what they are and don't have ridiculous expectations for what I'll find when I open the book. However, I don't think it is too much to ask for authors to think through some of the stuff they write. So much of this book is implausible that it's maddening but the thing that gets to me most is Zane's music awareness charity for children. That's right, Music AWARENESS. Is that something kids need? Seriously, can someone please find me one child who isn't aware that music exists? Thank goodness this guy who has "scads of cold, hard cash" is putting it towards such a noble cause! I'm not even going to waste my time going into all the other unbelievable things that move this plot along. Honestly this book is so bad, I can't believe I actually finished it . . .
Although this is part of a series it definitely can be read as a standalone. These series follows the Anderson siblings. In this title Casey getting over her husband dumping her for a rich socialite and abandoning her and their boys. Casey takes care of the family hotel that caters to the rich and famous. It so happens one of these famous person turns out to be rockstar Zach. At the first meet he becomes instantly attracted to her but knowing why he is at her hotel hiding out from Paparazzi makes her not interested. Sweet storyline that has various things going on that will keep the reader intrigued. In the end you get a wedding by the previous book couple(Meg and Josh)who happens to be Casey's sister.
I'm so loving Tamra Baumann's stories. All three books that I have read so far are all so unique and simple and sweet stories and the stories feel so real ; No fantasy. Casey's story is so beautiful with the struggles she faces about being a mother and a lover. Oh Tamra's books going to be my favourite stories and she is now added to my favorite authors list.
Loved this story. Zane did a great job proving himself and having patience with a Casey. She didn't made ur easy but he kept up his word and made a way. Glad the boys got to experience a caring male role model that wasn't an uncle. Can't wait for the next one.
I'm glad Casey got her happy ending and I hope that their father will start being a nicer kinder person. This is a great family and I can't wait to see Ben's story!
As with books one and two in the series, Tamra weaves an interesting story of two very likeable characters. Hooray for Casey and Zane and their shaky start and hard fought relationship. Loved the transformation of Casey from wimp to winner!
I liked the first two books in the series better. I thought Zane and Casey’s story was anticlimactic. I like Casey and her boys but Zane just didn’t convince me, with all his brothers issues and willing to take the heat for so much.
A very enjoyable read. Lots of fun characters, strong lead female, one pompous ex-husband, overprotective brothers and one very endearing musician. Great storyline with much going on. Encouraging characters that more of the series is needed to be read.
I enjoyed reading this book. The author knows how to hold and keep your attention so much so that you don't want to put down the book, but want to read it start to finish.
Not everything you see and hear about rockstars is true, but in this case finding how much is might cost her her family and kids. Together can they find a future?
My favorite book of the series. I enjoyed this story and the secondary storyline with the ex-husband. While there were some irrational moments, the MCs acted like adults through most of the story.
