Before Marlow and Sage can sit down and think of all that they had been through in the past year, they are thrown for another loop. Once again the pair must journey to a desolate Detroit that takes place far in the future and try to figure out a murder they happened to witness. All of this before they possibly become the next victims.

I have so enjoyed following this series and Marlow and Sage. From the beginning it is one of those series that grabs ahold of you and demands you read all the book

Hickory Dickory Dock book 3 in the Marlow and Sage series by Lee Strauss but it can be read as a stand alone and you won't get lost. I think it is the best so far and I have loved each of them. This is a fantasy/sci-fi/romance/mystery novel. You can't add much more to the novel yet she does this seamlessly and it works. There is action, adventure, intrigue, a hint of romance, a serial killer, time travel, end of the world possibility, suspense, and humor. The plot is well laid out and has plenty ...more

In this instalment in the Nursery Rhymes suspense series, Sage has created an equation that opens a bubble in space/time and she and Marlow are pulled into a future version of their home where everything has been bombed and the Chinese have taken over, and a secret underground group are trying to find a way to fight back. But with members of the group being murdered, can they find out who's behind it, and stay alive long enough to get home safely?
I enjoyed this book, which was excellently writte

Wow amazing as usual. Marlow and Sage are looking forward to a quiet summer break. Sage finds a math equation that goes back in time. Of course murder is in the air. Unbelievable as usual, couldn’t get enough. Superb author.

The third of the Nursery Rhyme boxed set was almost as enjoyable as the other two. I loved learning more about Sage and Marlow, and watching their relationship row. The time travel to a dystopian future actually was not as bad as I usually find it to be. (Maybe just because I like the author and her characters.) the tension is well maintained with new twists all the time. However, the final reveal of the "bad guys" and their motives left me slightly disappointed. I think because they were so typ ...more

Another great story by Lee Strauss! Her Nursery Rhyme series is an amazing series to discover. This was a fantastic Clue game/"Who Dun It" story. There was crazy plot twists and many surprises. I know the answer to the world problems are Bees! Why else time travel and reverse aging and possibly live forever? Is it worth keeping the world's most dangerous math equation or throw it all away to "save" the future. Hard call! There was also still time to throw in a little side of romance in the middl ...more

This is the third installment of a series. When Sage figures out a very complex math problem and loads it on her laptop a dome is created around her and Marlow. They witness a killing and then return to the present time. Marlow's work is robbed and he knows who the robber is! Sage also knows she has seen the person somewhere, but doesn't remember where. When they try the "dome" again they get sent into the future once more only the dome pops, leaving them there. This story is complex in how it u ...more

Initial Thoughts: I continue to enjoy this lighter sci-fi mystery/suspense series. In this edition, Marlow and Sage find themselves witnessing a future murder...and getting drawn in to not only solving the crime, but the future time line as well. It's a race to see if they can figure out a way back and stop anymore deaths. I was completely gripped by the plot and the on-going romantic tension between Marlow and Sage. I continue to enjoy the dual narrators and look forward to the next title in th ...more

Hickory Dickory Dock is the third in the series! I really enjoyed the story. It can stand alone but reading the first two will add to the enjoyment and mystery! Marlow and Sage have a connection; and not in the way that you would think! The mystery is woven through out the whole book! Who done it or who is doing it! Marlow and Sage must solve the mystery to survive! I think this book will appeal to all audiences, young and old(well, anyone that enjoys a little sci-fi and mystery). Great job Ms. ...more

Time travel to the future??

Yep! I love that Marlow and Sage went to the future but it was a scary future. Then Zed shows up to help them. Marlow finds his bio dad. When Marlow and Sage got to the year 2096, found nothing but rubble in Detroit. Not only that, the country was in the hands of china. Trying to deAl with all this plus someone murdering some of the 14 people trying to survive. I c a Mr wIt for the next book that will becoming out!!!

This installment didn't hold my attention as much as the previous ones. I found the ending difficult to believe (even considering this is obviously fiction), and disappointed with Sage and Marlow's interactions. Pros: unexpected sci-fi twists. Cons: Marlow and Sage's relationship choices. Hoping the next installment picks up the excitement of previous chapters. ...more

Marlowe and Sage are now part of my universe! While it may sound confusing to people noticing my rating, reading the book is an adventure. I want to follow the series to its end. My rating is sadly the result of also being irritated at knowing that with the great imagination and creativity that Lee Strauss has, she should also make sure that the book is written as error-free as possible.

Great series!

I enjoyed this book even more than the prior one in this series. I don't want to spoil anything so I'll just leave you with the knowledge that I was surprised at how the author took things even further than the other books went with time travel.
