Shaking his 'master' snow globe, Father Christmas searched for a solution to the biggest pain in the butt he’d suffered from in years. The fact that Holly’s personality was completely his fault didn’t help. Everyone at the North Pole was suffering, including Holly because he’d had a few too many sherries before magicking he

Something went slightly wrong when Father Christmas magicked Holly into existence. She has enough attitude for all the fairies, isn't very good at being nice or following rules and has a penchant for pain. When she fails at several jobs she's transferred to the adult wishes department at the North Pole where she gets assigned to Kian.

What comes is a funny, sweet, naughty and original story with mild dom/sub elements and spankings. I thought I was in for a naughty Christmas read that didn't have

Holly Berry combines elements of Christmas lore, fairy tales, and erotica. Holly, the protagonist, is a Christmas fairy created by a tipsy Santa, who, by stubbing his toe and swearing during the creative process, endows Holly with Non-Suicidal Self Injury (NSSI) disorder. Right from the start, Holly has a cynical and rebellious attitude, which lands her a job in the adult wish fulfillment branch of Santa's operation. Her first assignment leads to a BDSM relationship with a dominant who happens t

What's not to like about this book? It has everything on my check list I usually look for when I take a step away from my dark reads. A fun sassy heroine, and of course our leading dom Kian.

I loved Holly's character, she's exactly the kind of female lead I love to read about in my stories, even more, she was well fleshed out. So we're Kian and the others we meet in this fun. Christmas tale.

Overall this is a fun and Sexy read, fast paced, and we'll written.

I can’t say enough good things about this book! Emma Jaye is an absolute word smith!! The way she writes these characters and their stores makes them so vivid in my mind, it’s astonishing! Her paint series was my fav but this is definitely the second. To be honest I was hesitant to read this book. I’m not a Christmas person, but I thought it’s an Emma Jaye book and I want to experience every facet of her writing. It was COMPLETELY unexpected, a fresh ( and deliciously erotic ) take on the North ...more

"Holly Berry" is the first of a Christmas erotica series that will hopefully continue on an annual basis. This is the first adult Christmas tale I've read, and Jaye sets the bar on all counts. I will forever compare any romance or erotica I read to her work.

Her romance scenes are not only titalating: they create a foundation of romance for her characters involved. Every sensual act expresses characterization, giving her characters a sense of becoming and showing readers who they are. "Holly Ber

I really enjoyed reading this book. I picked it up for the holidays and it indeed gave me a yummilicious treat. The plot was sweet and interesting. I loved Holly’s character from the first page. Her character displayed several shades and was very well developed and multidimensional.

I liked the character of Susan. I even loved to read about Spencer, though I thought him to be a baddie in the beginning. My assumptions soon vanished as a cute little unexpected twist made him more likeable.

This is a well written and light-hearted Christmas story with a sexy theme. Holly Berry is not your usual fairy and doesn't quite fit in. She's moved to the adult dept and undertakes her first assignment. She meets Kian and in order to succeed in her mission, she must make him happy. The BDSM element was a surprise and although not my thing, it worked well with the story as Holly set out to succeed. A relationship develops and the story kept my interest up to the last page. . Holly Berry (Naughty or Nice?) by Emma Jaye is a delightful story about a fairy gone slightly awry. The old fairy tale about fairies being sweet and ever-loving doesn’t apply to Holly. Big Red Boss, also known as Santa, just happened to be in a slightly bad mood, tipsy and had the hots for the missus right when he whisked his magic to create Holly. Alas, she is not the sweet, innocent fairy she was supposed to be – she’s sweet, if also irritable at times, quick to call it like she sees it, and h ...more

I absolutely fell in love with this book and the main character Holly Berry from the moment I started reading it. I knew I was going to like it from the cover art. Red is my favorite colour and sex is my favorite hobby haha ;)
This was perfectly written and if there were any mistakes in grammer or plot I wouldn't have noticed because I enjoyed it so much. i tried to pace myself but the story was so comical and engaging I couldn't put it down.

I felt very inspired reading this book to turn an idea

This book took me by surprise. I was expecting a bit of Christmas fluff topped up with sex and BDSM. What I actually got was dodgy Christmas humour and an exploration of the relationship between a Dom and a Sub. Holly Berry is a Christmas Fairy with a runaway mouth and a liking of pain. Running foul of Father Christmas she's shunted off to the Adult Department, where the people who missed out on Christmas wishes as Children get their adult wishes granted. In this case an adult wishes her boss co ...more

A Christmas wish come true

If you ever wondered why there aren’t any fairies at the bottom of your garden, it’s because they’re all at the North Pole, working their butts off. Mostly, they’re busy fulfilling the wishes of various deserving children, but there’s an adult section too. Awesome.

Holly, being a rather new and not exactly ‘normal’ fairy, gets sent to the adult department. She has an attitude problem and at this stage is sexually naïve. But that all changes when she get sent to the huma

I'd actually give this story 4.5 stars, but since it's Christmastime and it was a freebie I'm adding the extra half star back.

This was a very enjoyable read. I absolutely loved Holly's character. She's so full of sass and spunk. I was laughing and smiling many times during the book. The only drawback I had was that for most of the book it was mostly clean grammar/typo wise, but something changed about the last 1/4 of the book. Someone got a bit sloppy during the editing phase towards the end.

Very entertaining, steamy, funny and quick read and in a very unique fairy setting! Holly gets sent into the human world to fulfill a wish and gets hooked up with hottie Dom Kian, who tries rather unsuccessfully to reign her in. :)

🎄 Ho Ho Ho

This was just too much fun
I fell in love with Holly right from the get
Her character is the perfect mix of innocence and snarky
She was a bit of an accident in her making resulting in her being a not so cheery Christmas fairy
Getting in trouble every which way she turned BRB has no choice but to demote her too just above reindeer pooper scooper
Can a Christmas wish give Holly the chance to prove she is worthy?

I really liked this story. Holly and Kian were intense and there interactions were sexual, caring and illuminating for both of them.

The sex scenes were intense, and could be troubling to some readers. With that being said, they were extremely well written and didn't overshadow the story that was being told.

I'll definitely be reading more from Emma Jaye!

I love romcoms! Perfect palate cleanser in between dark reads.
Who knew fairies were so funny and naughty?!?
And I do mean N A U G H T Y...the sex scenes were off the chart HAWT! I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Fun,sexy Christmas read that will make you wish you had a Christmas fairy. A unexpected fairy that never fits into the fairy world gets sent to make one man's wish come true.

A sweet Christmas story. I loved Holly, the Christmas fairy, and her personality. And she was the perfect fairy to grant the wish made for Kian!

This was an interesting book, I liked how bitter and angry the main character was throughout the beginning. I also enjoyed the look into domination/submissive culture. However there were some parts in the book I was a little thrown off when he was yelling at her or maybe being mean spirited, it was a surprise when the character was turned on by it, I felt in a different context those same words and emotions can be traumatizing and painful, so it was hard to be so disconnected from the outside wo ...more

From the moment I stepped into Ms. Jaye's world, I was both shocked and delighted. Her "adult" take on what normally is a children's fairy tale, namely Santa Claus, his cadre of elves, and the fulfillment of Christmas wishes, is utterly original. For the first few chapters, as Holly navigates her way through Santa's bureaucracy, I was pleased by her fantastic imagination. "Defective" elves who have been "turned on" at creation are sent to a deviant department at the North Pole, where the misfits ...more

I’ll start by saying that BDSM has never been an interest of mine, but I still managed to greatly enjoy this story. This book definitely falls firmly into the erotica genre, but there is just enough plot intertwined that should hold the interest of non-erotica connoisseurs. With that said, onto the review!

I must say that I was not expecting this book to play out the way it did whenever I started reading it. I was expecting a very, very clichéd Christmas romance, full of pages of fluff. Instead, I got something that is very close to the New Adult genre. There are some graphic sex scenes, but that is not the focus on the book. To me, the m

Recommends it for: Adults
If Santa makes a list of books, and not just children, then this one definitely goes on the naughty side of the ledger.

There have been many books I have read where I chuckled to myself, but few where I actually laughed aloud. Holly Berry is one of the later. I greatly enjoyed the author’s clever turns of a phrase and the outlandish inconsistencies between traditional concepts of Christmas and Holly’s perspective on life at the North Pole. About one-third of the way through the book, Holly is tr

I read what you write says it all. I don’t shy away from any genre, though I have many favorites, erotica in its many forms is not generally among them and thankfully I am not asked to review it very often. It seems all too often authors of that particular type of story fall back on crude language, crass simple dialogue and stark description, the likes of which belongs on an internet forum or better still in their author's heads, and should never be published for actual readers. Holly Berry is a magical Christmas fairy tale with a unique kinky twist. It's not the kind of book I'd usually choose, but I was in a festive mood so I thought I'd give it a chance - and I'm really glad that I did. Yes it's a bit (okay make that a lot) far fetched, but that's what makes this book such a fun read. It is witty, hilarious, seriously sexy and a very entertaining story.

When I think of Christmas, Santa and fairies I don't think kinky BDSM sex. This book is a new one for me but I really enjoyed it! Holly is a Christmas fairy who turns out to be a horrible fairy with a problematic attitude, while Santa was making her, he swore and things messed up. This is the most unique Christmas story I have ever read. The main character, Holly, is a Christmas fairy, who does not fit into the world of North Pole, wish-granting, child-loving fairies. She is foul-mouthed, opinionated and rather surly. Holly is also a delightful read. I have long been a fan of irreverent, smart-assed humor; and, she delivers that. After incurring the ire of her boss, Santa Claus, Holly is “exiled” to the Adult Department. She soon discovers her own dark sensuality and enth ...more

Holly Berry (Naughty or Nice? Book 1) Kindle Edition

by Emma Jaye (Author)

The sub-title says it all. Is Holly Naughty or Nice, it depends on what pops out of her mouth at the moment. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, for it almost felt like I was reading on of my own stories. It has such a natural flow, that I feel as if the author, Emma Jaye, simply let this story flow out of her. She let Holly be Holly, young, innocent, and naive at times, but at the same time naughty
