My heart tore up after reading this last installment of the Grimm Diaries. To be honest, I got into the series because I wanted to hear a retelling of the farytale's "villian's" side. Therefore, it's because of how Cameron Jace portrayed all these characters that I've been keeping up with all the prequels and the Grimm Diaries.

This was definitely worth the wait. I absolutely love how the author retold the fairy tales. It's enchantingly dark, but beautifully written. I fell in love with most of
An excellent ending to an awesome series in a much larger story

This is the fourth book in the series, and it really isn't a stand alone book, so if you haven't already I encourage you to start at the beginning. You will not regret it! This is the last book in this sub-series, and I'm sure what's to come will be just as amazing.

I just love Camilla's entire story. I ended up loving her, and it really have a new perspective to the quote "evil is a point of view". The twist at the end left me both

The kind of book you could not put down. The kind of book that will leave you speechless. The kind of book that will compare your reading experience to that of a rollercoaster ride, and the unexpected twists and revelations will make your mouth agape because of awe . Wraps up the enticing series with a jaw-dropping ending that will make you squeal on your seats (or in my case, my bed). Congratulations to the author for weaving individual tales into one enthralling plot perfectly!

This is not the finale...i feel mislead!

I mildly enjoyed the Snow White series. It was no where nearly as good as Jace's Alice series in my opinion. but I read it because I love his work. But as with "Alice" I read it thinking it was a full series. I need a conclusion! Dude fix your website at least so I know where you stand in your series'.

Snow series is good, if you like modern fairy tale you'll like it (very YA but OK) but i have NOT read any of the prequels and have since figured out I shou

I love this series. I have read all the prequels and 4 main books in just under a week. They are captivating and I love how his quote about evil being a point of view and how it wraps up everything at once. I adore even the "evil" characters and how you learn the true meaning of balance between everyone, everywhere, and everything. Can't wait for the next one!

What an abrupt ending. I understand there's another series to start but I felt that ended rather hastily. Still I enjoyed the story. And I certainly didn't see the mother of all vampires twist coming. I will say though, the typos throughout the entire set is wad quite annoying. ...more

I'm just disappointed. I absolutely loved this series...but this last installment...I struggled through. I had only a few chapters left, and I couldn't bring myself to finish. This is the first book I've ever read, that I couldn't finish. Oh well... ...more
{My Thoughts} – I have been an avid reader of this series from the beginning when the prequels were first released. I will continue to be an avid through to whenever Cameron Jace decides he no longer wants to continue adding to this series, with that said onto my review.

This entire book is based on a diary that was written by the Queen of Sorrow. A diary that can only be read once every one hundred years, because once it is read it turns to sand. Axle and Lucy are the one’s that are reading the

note: I did receive a review copy, but I bought it anyway since I liked it so much and wanted to see the final edition :-)

This book feels like a good completion to our back story on the Queen. She's often felt to me like a woman possessed, and this makes it all make sense. The uneven behavior, the mixed motivations and all comes together here.

What I like about it is the way the characters are interwoven with thought, feeling, action, and conversation, sometimes all in the same para

I will start this review saying that I love all of Cameron Jace's works. This one blew my mind with the secrets revealed and the twists and turns. I had a hard time putting this down and going back to work at lunch time. Thanks Cameron for another fantastic read.

If you've been following along with the series, and I strongly suggest you do read these in order, then the characters will be familiar to you but as usual not everyone is who you think they are. This book picked up with Lucy and Axle r

this is an ARC review given in exchange for an honest review .
so what does happen and is this the true queen or sorrows or a look alike or something no one wants to happen but the bad guys .
why use Blood Mike and Chocolate to look young and was it the queen truly or not .
and who is truly the true chosen one Wendy the black swan or Shew the white swan . one is good and one is evil by the color of the swan can it be true who is good or is it a illusion that maybe could be the complete opposite

Mind blowing

I was not ready for what I just read. My mind is still processing this amazing story. Just took me to a whole different level. What a trick. The devil can really play tricks with your mind. Omg is evil really just a point of view? Who is the choosing one? Who will win the wars? Wow all these secrets have finally been reviled just for more secrets to come. This was a amazing Read. I have yet to be disappointed with any book from this author. What a brilliant man behind this amazing i

I really don't want to spoil the fun of the book, but really the best part of the book it's the conclusion. And it was so surprising and so good that received the 4th star. And although I love Cameron's books since the first prequel, I must advise that this second part is too long, and sometimes boring. Carmilla really deserves the title of Queen of Sorrow, or better saying sorrow (no capital letters) for her history. But I got very bored with her quest!

If you usually give up books in the middl

I cannot believe this is how this series Was. Awesome! you have to understand though, I am a devourer of books. when I am entranced by a book or series I have no rest until I've completed it. That's why I don't read a series until it's completed. I get no respite from the tortures of the mysteries we read until I've completed them. I thoroughly enjoyed this portion of the whole! At the same time, I am deeply saddened that I must wait until I can get rest from not knowing! ...more

Seat of your pants eye opening

Not to be unimaginative but all that comes to mind are the words " What a twist!" Everything you have thought from up to this book.....gone! Wrong! From start to finish your pulled into the life and hardship of the Queen of Sorrow. And the revelations are monumental! Jace has done it again! Turned my world upside down with his words! Can't wait to get my hands on the next book! So open the book and be prepared to have your mind blown away

Cameron did it again - I am always so amazed at his creativity to spin stories we've heard for years into something so amazing. In this book you get much deeper into Carmilla's history into who she was and who she had become. I can't wait for this series to continue by way of the Piper Diaries next. ...more

Never in a million years would I have predicted this ending. Cameron Jace is truly amazing at his craft. The way he weaved this entire story is spell binding to say the least. If you haven't read the first book you have to start with the prequels. They are so important to this story.

I could not stop reading, this book has you wanting more and more and before you know it you've read 5 chapters when you only intended to read a couple. The twist with the queen of sorrow I never saw it coming and was actually starting to feel sorry for her, can't wait for the next instalment

The long awaited book! Ok. Not that long, but I am an impatient person. The second half of the Queen of Sorrow's journey to her little island, her quest to have children, and her final decisions that made her the bad queen she is...or is she? Unique series and I love it! ...more
