Damn this woman. It's as though she can read me like an open book. It must be those magical therapist powers they have.

Damn these short world problems. I'm trying to make a point, but he's not intimidated by me.

I think I just died and went to shoe heaven. I might come across as a simple girl who only needs simple things, but shoes are in a different world altogether. Shoes are like diamonds, a girl's best friend.

If this is dangerous love, then yes please!
But seriously, Liz Lovelock has done it again. She’s written a book which contains a little bit of everything–––– a bit of romance, a touch of suspense, a hot alpha male and a story line which will make you sad. Throw in a few surprises and you have the complete package.
You will fall in love with the characters unless you grow to hate them. I loved Jay Jones and I fell in love with Bray. I’m looking forward to reading Summer’s story which will be the ne

Dangerous Love is the first book of Liz Lovelock’s that I have read. The story revolves around Jaymie, or Jay, who had survived the most heartbreaking sadness in life, the loss of a child. There are parts of the book that very poignant, such as when Jay discusses the loss of her baby, her lack of family, and the man that left her.

Having worked her way through the sorrow, she is now a police officer. Jay puts herself in a life threatening situation that leads to

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely loved this book. I read it in one day. I didn't want to put it down. Liz has out done herself with this book. It is my favorite to date by her.

The story is well written, it flows very well, the characters are well written and developed. I loved getting to know them all. They were easy to love.

This story has some heartbreak, some intensity, some plot twists. I personally haven't gone through the loss that Jaymie has gone through but

Five Suspenseful Stars! I don't want to give to much away about this book except to tell you that you must read it! Jay was experiencing heartache and despair after losing her first love. Summer is Jay's best friend and we see what a great friend she is when Jay's past comes back to hunt her. The author writes a great story full of mystery, suspense and romance. I was hooked from the first chapter and couldn't put it down. I am looking forward to seeing where Ms. Lovelock will take us next. This ...more

I really loved this book. I've not read a contemporary romance for a long time and it was so refreshing to get back into this genre. Liz Lovelock had me gripped very early on which doesn't happen all that much these days after going through a year long book funk, so I indulged in my favourite pastime, left the housework and got lost in her words. This book has plenty of drama and heartbreak but a very welcome undercurrent of love and hope. I connected with the characters well and I actually miss ...more

I always love when I find a new author that writes a story with so much emotion… Liz caught me off guard. I don’t usually get emotionally spent in books, but she had me ugly crying and smiling too. I could relate to the heartache that Jay was feeling and the despair of losing her first love too. I found myself at odds. I wanted Jay to protect her heart and yet found myself rooting for her and Bray. Liz had a little bit of everything. Suspense, emotion, a hot alpha and a strong woman with a tende ...more

Let me begin by saying this story was incredible, the characters were well written and the plot flowed smoothly. It was action packed, suspense filled, heartbreaking all rolled up into one emotional nail biter till the end read.

Every doggone time I read one of this author's books I have to stop for a minute before I do the review. Her books are everything you want and need in a book. There's suspense and always some twisted plot. Nothing is ever what it seems and her characters, well they are multilayered and more than they seem. She has a past but doesn't know about it. He left her and she dealt with her choices and repercussions alone. Now they have to deal with their past so they can have a future but the danger is ...more

With all of the unresolved issues between them Jay is against it, but she's left without a choice. What Brayden doesn't know is that he didn't just walk out on Jay when he left, and Jay will soon learn that Brayden has a secret too. I read this book in one sitting. Jay was a police officer reassigned to work undercover. Jay was assigned to work with Brayden. Brayden was an informant that Jay had to work with on a drug case.

After five years, Jay began to slowly recover from her loss. Jay remained guarded and no longer trusted herself to date. Jay was focused, determined, and driven as a police officer.
Working closely with Brayden rekindled the attraction she felt in the past. Pretending not to be affected by him was hard. Keeping herself away from him beca

I have really started getting into these books that have the action, mystery, suspense and the romance. This one did not disappoint. I never read this author before so I didn't know what to expect, but I have to tell you I loved it. The characters, the whole theme of the story, it blows your mind in parts. Dangerous Love by Liz Lovelock is the first in the Unforgiven Series. This book is action packed from the very beginning and will have you on the edge of your seat with all twists, turns and revealed secrets.

If you enjoy a badass girl with a history of heartbreak and devastation with a hot as hell guy that let her go to keep her safe. Add a splash of danger with a sprinkling of family drama - then Dangerous Love is definitely for you.

I will also say that if you like a story that is romantic but not erotic - then this book is for you. There’s almost no cursing and even less sex. For me personally I would have liked more of both. Well….not necessarily cursing but more realistic police lingo. And well,

I finished this book in one day, because every time I put it down, to go do something, like eat, I couldn't stop thinking about the characters, and wondering what was in store for them. The author did an amazing job of getting inside the head of the characters, and making you feel for them.

There was intrigue, romance, and a few plot twists. I've never dealt with the loss the main character deals with, thankfully, but that doesn't mean that I didn't sob uncontrollably when reading about the orde
