This book was recommended to me by a guy I met who claimed he lost 40 pounds in about 5 months using this book. I ordered it for my kindle and began the 28 day program. I lost a mere 10 pounds and when I added a few carbs one day, I mysteriously put 3 of those pounds back on.
I went back to review what I should do after the 28 day program but sadly, all I could find were a bunch of recipes!

I think the author does a good job explaining the basics in a simple and easy to understand way. Which I found very helpful.
The only thing I didnt like was her bread recipes. If you are into eating a slice of flavorless frittata, by all means, go for it. Simply too eggy for my taste.
Overall, an ok book. ...more
The first recipe I tried - stuffed peppers, had a cook time of 30 minutes. That won't cook ground beef and should be closer to 1 hour and 30 minutes. I hope the recipes are not riddled with similar errors. For something people pay money for, errors like this are ...more
