Take a peek into the back room

I'd been wanting to read this book for awhile, expecting to see the "back room" of dog training, so to speak. The parts that get left on the cutting room floor in the dog training TV shows. The stories they DON'T share in training books.

I wasn't disappointed. It had me snickering in several stories, with my favorite being "Impeccably Trained Owner Awards." This was a fun read!

Dog training tips are sprinkled throughout, and I especially enjoyed the photos that

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the anecdotes of the author’s experience with dog training. She gives valuable insight into a dog’s behavioural problems and what is required by pet owner’s to rectify them. What amazed me was that the dog owners mentioned in the book loved their pet(s), but they hadn’t thought to invest quality time in training. We humans are trained—right. Pets should be too. Are you an impeccably trained owner? I highly recommend pet owners read this light hearted and sometimes ...more

I received this book free in return for a honest review.
What can I say...I really enjoyed reading the adventures of a dog trainer! Pretty much the whole book backs up the saying of "its not the dog its the owner!" Especially in the chapter "things that make you go...hmmm!" This section details and unbelievable scenario that I actually had to read twice...did she honestly say that??? If your a dog lover this book is a must read, if not give it a go anyway!

A great quick peek into the life of a dog psychologist / trainer.
I really enjoyed the stories, even though they were short I thought they were both funny and informative at the same time.
