For a very long time, my biggest accomplishments had nothing to do with what I really wanted. When I decided to give up my mother’s dream and fight for my own, I never imagined choosing one dream could put me on the path of the one I never knew I wanted – meeting him. Collin. He quickly went from a friend to a companion, to soul mate, to heartbreak.

After he left Chicago,

"Under our tree, sitting on the same blanket as before, we laugh some more. Not because all our conversations are particularly funny but because... well, because we're us."

A quick, engaging, and cute contemporary read.

We've met Emily and Collin in the first book of this series, Our Demons, Best Friends but they were just side characters there. Here in this book, the story already revolves around them. And just like the previous book, I had a lot of fun!

Em and Collin, both medical residents,

Short and sweet, sometimes too sweet I was starting to get annoyed. But hey, who am I to deprive two people in love of their unwarranted laughter and general cheesiness. Lol. There was a point when it became a bit melodramatic but not irritatingly so.

What I appreciate about these novels that began with Our Demons, Best Friends although Love Me While I’m Gone stands on its own are the strong female characters who know their place and who they are especially in a romantic relationship. They’re le

A serendipitous love story.

This is the sequel to our demons, best friends but can be read as a standalone. It'll be shame though, Ava and Sebastian are too cute to miss.

Now a days, I just find it so hard to get completely lost in a romance novel. I go in expecting nothing but a decent story, but 80% of the time I come out with a mouthful to complain about how the characters were pretentious, how the romance was nauseatingly cheesy, how their obsession was unhealthy. That's because authors hard

While reading “Love me while I’m gone” you could pick and emotion out of the dictionary and I’m sure I had felt it. What a rollercoaster of emotions!

Emily and Collin are such great characters. Their relationship was so addicting. The second book is all about Emily and Collin’s story (who were Ava’s friends from the first book in the series “My demons best friends) their love story is beautiful and very lovely. This book shows the hardships of a relationship and the things people to need to do t

An expeditious and a light read!

Emily knows what she wants and she doesn't let other people tell her what to do. What to become. She's funny, smart, and she's witty.

Collin, on the other hand, is also sweet, he has enough sense of humor, but there's something about him that makes me want to punch him in the face. I mean, he couldn't have just left. He should've explained himself, reason why I didn't dare to hate Emily for hating him. He just ran away.

I read an ARC copy.

I enjoyed the first book so I was hoping this one would be good too. However, I was wrong. I still think that the author is a good writer. I just hated Emily. She was childish and it was pathetic. If she would just have let him explain it would been better. I was just extra mad because all of this and they weren't even dating at the time. Even though I didn't like this one I will still read the next one.

This serie has potential.
If i was head over heals for the first one; then Cupid must have made it it's soul mission to shoot me with as much arrows as possible because i'm down right in love with this book!
It shed a light on Lots of stuff that happened in ODBF that apparently passed right under Ava's nose, The Romance was so fulfilling i swear i had butterflies in my stomach at some points, and with a few tears here and there and a ton of laughs i would say it was perfect.

Thank you to the author for sending me a copy of this book for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

It was so fantastic to be back with these characters again! I remembered why I fell in love with them from the first book! This sequel, although I suppose it is more of a companion novel to Our Demons, Best Friends, focuses on Emily and Collin, instead of Ava and Sebastian. Don't worry, we still get to see the other characters, but this book is told in Emily and Collin's p

This book should come with a warning.

WARNING: This book contains too much cuteness and passion. You'll get addicted, you will swoon, you will want your own Collin, you will want to be a doctor and travel the world!

"For now all I want is to find myself."

Emily needs a hug. She is so beautiful, inside out. I felt like she was so simple and pure. This girl had a good sense of humor.
She fell in love quickly, but deeply. She was strong and confident.

Love Me While I'm Gone is just as good as Our Demons, Best Friends but with more fresh story. The relationship between Em and Collins was full of ups and downs just like a roller coaster! Two years left without explanation it hurts, doesn't it? But Collin's letters was just... Perfect. They made me cried

Holy Moly. That's all I can think really, because my thoughts are a blubbering mess. I have awaited this sequel for a few months and now that I've finally had time to read it, I can assure you that Love Me While I’m Gone does not disappoint. I absolutely loved the first book in the series, Our Demons Best Friends and I knew I would love the sequel as well. And it was better than I had expected♡

The second book is all about Emily and Collin’s story and I have to say I love the fact that Diana deci

"She could rule the world if she decided that's what she wanted to do. For now, I'll just have to pray she doesn't decide to rule me, because she totally could. And I would let her, without even a fight."

I adored Love Me While I'm Gone for so many reasons. The main reason being that all the characters from Our Demons, Best Friends were in this book as well! The Half of Me series is absolutely amazing and I love that each book focuses on a different character's story. Diana T. Scott has created a

Love Me While I'm Gone by Diana T. Scott is the second novel in the Half of Me series. It follows Emily & Collin's journey discovering love. When they first met each other, they knew there was something between them. Young minds, fresh hearts, they took the chance to express each other what they feel. Until an accident happened that Collin needed to leave.

I give this book 4.5 out of 5 stars! It was a great read. I love the characters, they all felt real. The setting was new to me that's why it t

I hope your ready for an emotional roller coaster because this is what you receive as soon as you start reading this AMAZING novel. Their will be times where you want to cry with both An and Collin and there will be times where you want to tell in frustration and excitement!!!!! This is a great romance novel that shows the difficulty and work that has to be put into a relationship especially when you have many things that are going wrong in your life. So I started this book this evening and now after a few hours I have finished it.
The first page had me captivated and invested into the storyline. I loved this books much more than its predecessor. This was is gonna be my new baby.
The story line although not out of the blue but it still was captivating and had me hooked. Diana wrote it so well. The two main character were likeable and made you interested in their lives. I was rooting/ shipping them both ever since I read their first encounter. C

Where do I start?!! I absolutely LOVED this book. I fell in love with the characters in the first part of the 'Half Of Me' series & I couldn't wait to read more & fall in love all over again!!

Collin & Emily make my heart swoon!! I loved their humour, sarcasm and easy banter. I found it so easy to relate to their characters & their relationship was so lovely!

They had the perfect amount of chemistry without there being any insta-love!!!

I won't reveal any spoilers but honestly, I think I cried a

This book was sent to me (thankyou Diana) and after reading 'Our Demons, Best Friends' I had really high expectations for this book, and I'm so glad to say that they were met. This book made me laugh, cry and everything in between which is hard to find.
The way that the story flowed made reading this a breeze, no need to stop and start, you can read this easily in one sitting. We see Em and Collin's relationship before and during the events of the previous book in the series which gives you a un

Diana sent me her first book, Our Demons Best Friend and I instantly fell for Sebastian. I have a love for books and shows with doctors in it so I was intrigued from the blurb itself. And from book one we met, Sebastian's best friend, Collin. I can't help but fall for him too. He's just too loveable and this story kinda gives you a new perspective on Sebastian & Collin's past. I would totally recommend this book and if you love Sebastian, you will love Collin too :) ...more

Loved this second book in the author’s Half of Me series. The relationship that grows between Collin and Emily is a genuine romance based upon connection, friendship, and love that finally gets to the steam. Collin made a great romantic Hero until he royally screwed it all up. Both of these characters were immensely likable and pulled you into the story. This book runs concurrent with the first of the series and it was great to see the relationship between Sebastian and Ava through others’ eyes. ...more

I LOVED LOVED LOVED this book, I was almost giving to it 5.5 stars but I am saving it for
So on par with the first book. The first half of this book made me want to place this as #1 in the ranking of this series but when I thought back to how much I was made to feel in Our Demons, Best Friends, I couldn't do anything but rank it a very, very close 2nd.

Sometimes when you have a series you get people who are mostly individuals but, and let's be honest here, they could easily be interchanged between stories and you wouldn't think the pairing odd. Details about background and motivations

Firstly I had to go and change the rating for “ Our Demons,Best Friends” because “ Love me while I’m gone “ is beyond perfect!
Don’t get me wrong, I loved the first one too,but this one doesn’t have as much drama as the first one, plus every couple must have their unique love story.
Read this on Christmas morning and I couldn’t have made myself a better present! I knew the author planned a sequel and I was excited for it, but like always real life happened and didn’t have time to read it in one go,

Lovely romance,relateable characters!

I was really happy to get this book to read as half of me book #1 was one of my favourites that I read last year.

First thing I was so happy to see Colin's story explored in this book as I was intrigued to his character. From the beginning I was with Emily and Colin on their journey. I loved how the beginning grips you straight away and even if you know the reasons for the characters separation your still totally heartbroken for them and a few points in the s

I'm not sure to be good at leaving a review. I would give in the simplest way possible my own opinion about this book.
I must admit that, when ive started, i was waiting for a specific line to follow. From the experience of the previous book "Our Demons, Best Friends", book that left me almost speechless, i was expecting for a dark and really deep book, but with "Love Me While I'm Gone" I found a new meaning for the word "deep".
If I could judge the two books, one beside the other, id rate them as

I love this book! It's based in the same setting as "Our demons, best friends" and tells Collin's and Emily's story. Diana Scott manages to create heartbreaking lovestorys with a happy ending and the books are a very good and quick read. I didn't want to put it away at all. I cried a few times while I was reading because sometimes I could really relate to feelings and situations. But that's what makes her books so wonderful, they're so close to the feelings of the reader. Thank you for this amaz ...more
