Juliette is a refreshing New Adult Contemporary fiction where the female protagonist is not dysfunctional and pining over the bad boy. Juliette Cole has recently graduated and is working as an engineer in Silicon Valley. She is recovering from a break up but is determined to move forward. And she meets two potential boyfriend candidates—Zach and Dr. Nate. Both men appear to be attracted in her.

Story is told from maine character point of view.
It's kind of nice to be able to read about a strong, smart woman, with nice family, good friends, job and hobbies in New Adult fiction,…..but….

There were so many characters and a lots and lots of details about some not so important stuff. It felt so overwhelmed at times.

She is attracted to two different guys.

4 stars for encouragement ! I enjoyed this book!! I really like the heroine's voice and her family and friendship dynamics. I adore her friends, the 'princesses' are so different and so cool! The book has a lot of characters I admit, but you won't feel overwhelmed about 'em , because the writing is very smooth and the story line flows in such a way that you are able to keep track of all of them. It helps that at the beginning of the book the author provided us with a list of all the characters. ...more

3.5 I was contacted by the author to R2R several months before I actually read this book. Life, you know. By the time I had the opportunity to read it I lost the email with the ebook link (I think I deleted it by mistake), so I bought my own copy. There are a lot of things that I liked about this book, and a few I didn't. On the negative side, I'm not a fan of the love triangle trope (I've mentioned this many times in my reviews), so I didn't love that Juliette was going between two guys. There ...more

When you have a group of girlfriends with different personalities, like the princesses, it makes for a hilarious read.

Claire does a great job of giving each character their own unique personality. Even the smallest of characters stand out.

It's really refreshing when an author really takes the time to develop the characters, their traits, their idiosyncrasies...

Not once, did the characters bleed into one another. I always new which character was being focused on. Let me tell you, the b

I was given this book by the author in exchange for a review. I would like to say that I loved it, but I didn't. I think the premise of the book was great, a group of young women trying to find their place in the world while simultaneously trying to navigate the dating pool, but this book just came off as a series of extremely boring diary entries!! It was so bland hearing about Juliette's day-to-day life and honestly she was a pretty bland character. I felt no depth from her or her other "princ ...more

thoroughly enjoyed reading this story first for two reasons:
1. I've worked in the Tech sector for nearly 20 years and as a woman, can identify with Juliette's crazy 50+ work week, but rather than her extreme involvement in sports activities, I was raising three children as a single parent.
2. I live two hours northeast of the the San Francisco South Bay, having commuted back and forth for several years to the Silicone Valley for work, the books setting local is very familiar to me. I enjoyed rec

I really really wanted to like this but I'm afraid I couldn't even finish it. The writing was good but there was WAY too much detail. The story never progressed in the 40% I was able to read before giving up. She had the same conversation over and over as a way to introduce all 30 some characters. There was just absolutely no need for all of them. They didn't add anything to the story and in fact made it pretty unreadable for me. I

My review is 3.85 stars.

I'm a software engineer. So I think the book was perfect for me, as per the story. But I didn't make a connection with the story or the character, the way I wanted to. I liked the story but I didn't love it. The main character Juliette was good but the character didn't please me so much.

The other characters were like ambushing the whole story & its structure.

Romantic section of the book was ok not great. I felt some void there. The author's writing skills are exceptional

This was an interesting and cute trilogy. It's wonderful to see an educated woman as the protagonist. Juliette and her friends are endearing and funny at the same time. I loved the difficult choice Juliette had to make between Nate and Zach with a little Gray on the side. These books are sexy, funny, sporty and geeky at the same time. I enjoyed reading these books from start to finish and will probably continue reading the Silicon Valley series. ...more

Wow! 5 star *****!!!!!
I will say the book started slow as the author introduced several characters, so give it time. I love that Juliette and her group of friends are strong women but they live in the real world with situations that most young women have to deal with. They are smart, but sometimes you have to learn by going thru life. The men, range from total sigh, geeky sigh, creepy, etc... well you probably get the point.
Great read!

Juliette just returned to Silicon Valley after following her boyfriend to London. She is alone and moved in with her best friend she grew up with even though they are complete opposites. There are a whole lot of characters packed into this book from Juliette's college girlfriends to all the people she works with and the swim team. Cute little geeky story with lots of computer talk and an unexpected love triangle. Fun Read. ...more

Book 1- Meet me in the Silicone Valley
This was a very easy read and an extremely fun one. It was a really well written book with an interesting storyline and very likeable characters that made it easy to fall in love with the story. In short I really enjoyed reading this book and look forward to the next in the series.

I received these books in exchange for an honest review. The main character of this trilogy is an engineer in Silicon Valley named Juliette. She has a close group of friends who all went to college together and are all very intelligent and supportive of each other without any drama or cattiness between them. This is a quintessential New Adult Romance Novel with it's love triangle, out of control roommate/friends, and plenty of angst. "Juliette" is the first novel of the Princesses of Silicon Valley series. It's computer rich Silicon Valley backdrop gives us plenty of great dating settings but it also bogs down the pace of novel with a large amount of technical and engineering laden jargon. Much of that read "blah, blah, blah, to me and made my eyes glaze over - I'm not a STEM girl. I think the same ...more

Read2Review: I received a free digital copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Summary: Juliette is a book about an Engineer who is trying to figure out her love life.

Pros: For the most part, the characters seemed real. Some of her friends were majorly flawed (Cassie), and Juliette's life wasn't all that exciting. When Juliette finally starts dating only one guy, the relationship progresses and I grew to like the guy she chose.

Cons: Although the characters were mostly

Sadly, I'm not going to be able to finish it. It's not what I thought it'd be. The author gives this as her motivation for writing the series:

"When I sat down to write my series I created characters I liked. I wanted the women to be smart, have their heads on straight, be part of a group of supportive friends, and have a positive relationship with their family."

That sounded so refreshing in a New Adult contempo

First off, I received this book from the author as part of Read2Review in exchange for an honest review. There were some things I really liked about this story, and yet I was also frustrated by it. I liked Juliette and her group of friends, but I thought that there was way too much time spent doing nothing. We meet the Two main contenders for the love interest fairly early on, and yet, she doesn't really start dating any of them until about 70% of the way through the story. I thought Juliette's ...more

This book is the complete trilogy and what a book it was. I’m far from a NA but I found that the main character was a relatable, average woman who had just begun what promises to be a successful career.

Juliette has just returned home after chasing her grad school boyfriend back to his home in England. Things did not end in the fairy tale romance she had hoped for and we find her back in Silicon Valley with a new job thanks to her college frien

I was provided a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review.

The book starts with a list of characters and brief descriptions. It's quite the list, but I found it unnecessary to look back as I read.

I enjoyed this book. It began slowly and a bit stiff, but by about 20%, I found myself laughing at the dialogue, bonding with the characters, and getting into the situations described. The author takes a jargon-heavy setting in the Silicon Valley and turns it into an interesting, fun environme

I would give this trilogy 3.5 stars

The story is light and easy enough to read, however, I struggled with the first book as it introduced a lot of characters which left me flicking back and forth between pages to work out who was who. I didn't find the character list until I'd read the three books, if it had been at the front I think it would have helped me get into the book more.

I enjoyed book three the most as Juliettee had finally found the
