Is it wrong to be this Ravenous?

When Jennifer Finn was good, she was very very good, and when she was bad…she got arrested for assault and indecent exposure. Now Jen’s back in school and determined to find her balance. But one man seems just as determined to destroy her equilibrium, and he knows all the right buttons to push.

What began as a favor for an old friend became something more the instant Trick Dunham laid eyes on Jen. Now he can’t resist inserting himself into her life, despite warnings from her family. Little Finn might be struggling to find her path but Trick knows exactly where she belongs. What she needs. He just has to get her and their third to agree.

Professor Declan Kelley has a weakness for his old lover, Trick. The bad boy ex-con has become a wickedly sensual man who comes whenever he pleases, but never stays. When he shows up again it’s to offer Declan one of his darkest desires to date—Jennifer Finn and Trick together on a three-way platter. But that would threaten the safe, uncomplicated life he’s built for himself, and Declan’s not doing that for anything.

Unless it’s forever…

Warning: This book is a Jenga tower of sin. Explicit, graphic, shocking, teetering-on-the-edge-of-unbalanced, unapologetic sin. M/m, m/f, f watching m/m together and liking it so much that m grabs f and makes her a part of the dirtiest m/m/f ménage in history. That’s right, I said it. Role play—the hot-for-teacher kind, the sexy-thief-in-the-night kind AND…well sometimes you just have to ignore the warnings and dive right in.

When Trick first saw Jennifer 'Little Finn' Finn, he knew she was the perfect woman to complete his and Declan's relationship. Doesn't matter that he and Declan haven't been together for a long time, he knows that he still belongs to Declan. Now he just has to get both Jen, and Declan to agree to a relationship with him, and each other.

I've been enjoying this series all week, and I'm still loving the Finn family, but sadly this book didn't meet my expectations. I was looking for more hotness, especially after reading Dangerous, which was ridiculously hot, but I was disappointed with the lack of smexiness. I still liked the story, but the characters were only meh for me. I had a hard time liking Jen, and Trick and Declan weren't in the story as much as would have liked.

Overall, still a good story but not as good as the rest of the series. I'll be looking forward to the next book, and I know this author can bring back the hotness!

Erotic MMF menage romance with shades of BDSM.

This book pairs 2 bisexual H's who've been on-and-off for more than a decade with a 26 yr old college student h who is into mild BDSM, sassy and a bit bratty. One of the H's is the h's professor and that made it even more hot.

The h suffers from the youngest child syndrome, especially being the only girl surrounded by oblivious but overbearingly protective brothers/cousins. She acted out(in bk1-3) got in trouble and then got all wounded and defensive. I found it hard to identify with h bcos she didn't seem to always look before she leaped. I have a problem with those characters when they come crying boohoo for sympathy bcos they knew the risks before they jumped- if that even makes sense, lol. But I liked that the h was passionate, liked kink and never repressed that part of herself. I hate prissy, uptight, judgemental or prude h's.

The 2 H's were hot and dirty and treated the h like a queen/their naughty sub that they couldn't get enough of alternatively, but the premise that they never were able to be in a steady relationship before bcos the h was the missing piece didn't ring very true to me.

The h's family was wonderful, loving and supportive. I love that this series has MM,MF and now an MMF book - just like books by a few other authors I like eg:Dana Marie Bell. Life isn't cookie cutter and it happens that people find love - and not always vanilla - at different ages and with different genders and in combinations other than a couple. Some people may also be perfectly happy single and they don't belong between the pages of a romance novel at all - like a few H/h's I've read, one even last week:((

Anyway I recommend this to any reader who enjoys menage romance, erotic MMF action, mild D/S stuff, professor-student forbidden romance combined with a sweet and wonderful HEA.

3.75 stars.

Remember when like a week ago I was thinking the universe was conspiring against me to cheat me out of MMF? I think the universe just made it up to me. When I saw this was available on the cheap I snapped it right up.

I have no regrets. None.

description

I've not read any of the rest of the series, but I was able to keep up for the most part with the Finn family. This author is new to me and this will not be my last experience with her. When I need a feel good escapist read I'll be keeping her in mind. She delivers very little angst, fairly well developed characters, a little cheek, a dash of kink and a fair amount of sexy times en route to an HEA.

"What started you think about ménage?"

"I'm a man, Jen. I was born into this world, I cried when they spanked my ass, and then I started thinking about it."

And with Ravenous she came to play, and by "came to play", I mean I think she peeked at my diary. The first MC, Trick, is introduced as the bad boy with a record, sleeves and some smoldering lumbersexuality that called to me. Then the second MC, Declan, is introduced as Trick's long time on again, off again lover. He's also a black Irish lumbersexual, kinky and a psychology professor!

description

The third piece of this triad is Jen Finn who is a bit kinky herself, likes to be "the bad girl" and I never felt like duct taping her mouth shut. Will wonders never cease?

It's clear Trick is no one trick pony (see what I did there?) and he's on a mission to make them a threesome. To that end he has been engaged in some covert operations in Jen's bedroom to get her... prepared. Which is making her a bit cray cray since he refuses to close the deal until they're all together.

description

Trick, however, overplays his hand and dangles his carrot in front of the raging, possessive, dirty mouthed bull one too many times and gets his ass MINE'd all over a dorm room during a toga rave while Jen looks on.

description

I won't lie I felt a kinship with jen and her voyeuristic ways as well as her affinity for pound town. She unapologetically wants both of them and unabashedly owns her sexuality while embracing the possibilities this burgeoning relationship presents with one slight hiccup.

It was surprisingly less erotic than the blurb led me to believe with far more focus on their feels for each other and the logistics of making their relationship work, coming out to Jen's family all while keeping the romance betwixt them at the forefront.

The Finn family dynamics did drag me down occasionally and mucked with the pacing, but overall a heartwarming read for those who enjoy polyamorous bisexual romances with an HEA.

Sadly this one just wasn’t as great to me as the previous books, it just didn’t do much for me for some reason. I loved Declan and Trick, Jen was just meh. I don’t know she just annoyed me at times and I honestly didn’t feel any connection with her. Also I didn’t really feel a connection with her and either of the guys, especially when she didn’t even fight for them, at all. I think I would rather have just had a story about Declan and Trick without Jen in the mix. Not to mention they had a history without her and then on top of that the whole age thing was just blah, I am so over the young girl with older guys especially when the girl tries to demand she is mature when most of the time she really is not. I mean if you are really mature and all then you wouldn’t have to keep mentioning it all the time, just saying.

This also seemed to drag to me, I mean I could actually lay the book down. I read the others without a break, well maybe a potty break but nothing else got done…I didn’t have that problem with this one.

Anyway while this one was a miss for me it wasn’t a bad read, just not great like the previous books. So I will just carry on with the next one and see where we go with the rest of the Finn clan.

Ravenous is book four in the Finn Factor series and this one shows us Jen "Little Finn" getting her happily ever after. In the first book she breaks off an engagement with an awful man who has made her incredibly unhappy. In the next two she goes a little wild and by the start of this book, she has settled down, going back to college and trying to find herself. However along the way she finds two men she’s interested in, and they’re both interested in her, as well as each other. Incredibly steamy times happen between them and this ended up being fun, light and hot as. I definitely recommend this to fans of this series or anyone looking for some hot m/m, m/f, m/f/m, m/m/f. Wowzer!

Oh the angst...

I loved this book so much that im pretty sure its my favorite one to date. The Finns are this larger than life family who stick close together but keep these monumental secrets. It's never small shit neither, the Finns go real big or they don't do it at all..

Jennifer Finn AkA Little Finn, is basically starting over. She has cleaned the smudges off her halo and is being the "respectable" non-problem child her family expects her to be... There is just one issue with that - Little Finn was born to be bad. Her family expects too much perfection from her and the toll of her failed relationship weighs on her even though it shouldn't. Tristian knows this.

Tristan "Trick" Dunham is a man on a mission to bring his lovers together and nothing will stop him, well except Little Finn, but she isn't even about that life. Trick has been woeing and planning and leaving both him and Little Finn sexually frustrated for the better part of a couple months because he knows in his bones that both of them belong in a relationship with one Declan Kelley.

Professor Declan Kelley his stuffing his urges and passion in a box and trying to duct tape it closed. The only issue... the duct tape is cheap and it breaks apart easily. He uses rules like a shield to hold out on the temptation that is Trick and Little Finn. But temptation always wins. And this is Love and War.

This book was everything for me. I loved the fact it wasn't instant love and instant sex. They played, they tricked, they manipulated, they teased, they gave it their collective all. There was no half ass anything with these three and you got to walk through their emotions, what they felt, how they reacted. You felt what they felt, craved what they craved, touched what they touched. It was sensual and needy, it was fucking sin.

I love the fact that the Finn clan never disappoints when it comes to accepting someone, some just need more information than others. I have to admit that Ellen "Mamma Finn" is not my favorite person right now even if her and little finn are working it out. What she did was unacceptable for me,she basically tried to make little finn into her knowing that they are absolutely different and nothing about the situation was the same except that they both had two men. It wasn't the same and she shouldn't have pushed Little Finn like that. If anyone deserves to be happy its Jennifer.

Well its 12:32am EST time and my brain is fried, so im going to stop here. I might add more to this later though.
Either way I give this book 5 bricks of C4 and a must read stamp of approval.

I'll do a full review of this story shortly because it deserves the praise but for right now all you need to know is ... I've loved the Finn family since the moment I met Owen Finn in Curious, book 1 of the Finn family. Owen and Jeremy are still #mypeople (if you know me or follow my reviews then you should know what an honor that is) but Jennifer Finn managed to bump Stephen Finn AND Brady Finn right out of their ranks and come REALLY close to knocking Owen as well. Soooooooooooooooooo ...

I can see how the outcome of my review is tied to the type of expectations I had for this next installment. If I look at it as a set of steamy scenes connected by a bit of plot here and there, it's just fine. If I'm looking for the strength of story and how these characters fit together, my satisfaction drops. Like other series with too many couples who have already reached their HEAs, Alexander tries to give fans what they want with updates and cameos by these familiar names. When it's hard to recall who is who and whom they're with, it's either a sign of my poor recall or that these just weren't memorable characters - simply vehicles to titillate readers of romance. You can argue whether that's a bad thing or not. All depends on perspective and expectations.

I've been waiting to read more about Little Finn for a while now, and this is one of the best installments in the series to date. The chemistry between the three of them is scorching. Going to have to reread it, I didn't get enough of it the first time around!

3SOME LOVE

Declan, Trick and Jennifer were explosive. So hot, probably one of the hottest books so far. What left me wanting? Real life interactions of the three of them, sure they described in their heads that they did it, but I would’ve at least like one whole scene of them in domestic bliss. Other than that, we get to see all our faves, I’m obsessed with this universe.

I didn’t care for Jen and her poor little rich girl shtick.. I wanted Declan and Trick to be together without the annoying desperate clinger named Jen.
September 25, 2016
Another enjoyable installment of the series. For me probably the weakest so far but still an enjoyable read. The exploration of poly as a true love between all parties was really good and felt natural when it came together but I wasn't keen on the manipulation of declan when it was a semester course that meant he wouldn't be Jen's teacher after 3 months. It wouldn't have hindered the story or prevented sexy role play and I think it would have been more in keeping with his character. Also, the issues with Ellen Finn seemed brought in late and resolved too easily. That said they are my only comments and I've already downloaded the next book.

This is the fourth book in the Finn Factor series, and features Jennifer Finn (Little Finn as she is affectionately known in her family) and the somewhat complicated relationship she has with her older brother's best friend Trick - and his sometime lover Declan, who just happens to be her college professor! So not only do we have a menage story (m/m/f), we also have the forbidden love affair aspect of a teacher/student relationship (though there is no mistaking that at 24 Jennifer is quite mature enough to make her own decisions and she's made that quite clear to her family). It's a standalone story, but her family plays a prominent role so I'd recommend reading the earlier ones (all sexy treats to be sure) though you don't have to in order to enjoy this one.

I enjoyed this story (though the first of the series is my favourite). It was fun to see all the interactions between the family members, and how Jennifer relates to her sister-in-law and roommate made for some scenes reminiscent of an episode of Sex in the City. Trick's pursuit of Jennifer is obvious as he's been playing bodyguard (as a result of some previous situations in earlier books in the series) and using that as an excuse to sneak into her room at night, giving her a taste of what things could be like between them. Then when he finds out that Jennifer is taking a class with Declan, his on again/off again lover, he can't help but plan a way for the three of them to be together. The complications of a committed threesome relationship are delved into as Jennifer realizes that she is falling for both Trick and Declan and worries about how that will be perceived by her family and friends. There are several steamy scenes to be had (no surprise for fans of this series!) including Trick and Declan reconnecting and their willingness to be there for Jennifer. It was a fun, sexy read. 3.5 stars.

I couldn't wait to read Little Finn's story and it was amazing! I adore this series and all of the Finns that we've met but Little Finn was really the one I was waiting for and boy was it worth the wait. As the only Finn girl surrounded by super alpha males it's amazing they ever let her out of the house but with a personality like hers there was no way they would keep her in. After seeing some of her stumbles in the other stories we now get to see her shine. Jennifer Finn has grown into an amazing woman with deep passion and finds her soul mates in this story. Of course it's not an easy road and honestly, if Little Finn took the easy way out it would have been disappointing but true to form she takes the road less traveled and makes it her own. The gift that is R.G. Alexander writes not just a hot, erotic, steamy book but she writes about the family dynamics that play out between the different members of the family. The head of the family, Shawn & Ellen Finn have shown so much unconditional love and acceptance that Ellen's reaction to Jennifer and her men floored me. I was absolutely shocked, saddened and disappointed in her reaction and her demands for Jennifer's behavior. Watching how Little Finn handled the whole thing, how she was pulled in different directions and tried to make everyone happy just about broke my heart and led me through a few tissues to say the least. The writing of this poignant section of the book was so spot on, so deep and touching that I felt Jennifer's pain, I could understand where she was coming from and how she felt. It always amazes me when a writer can create a piece of literature that touches upon so many different facets of the characters and that reaches out to the reader and truly touches them deeply enough to evoke an emotional response, now that is talent and R.G. Alexander has it in spades!

The fourth book in the Finn Factor series brings us Jennifer "Little Finn" and her two hunka, hunka men!

I am such a fan of this series for many reason, one of which is the solid characters that the author brings to the pages. Jennifer could have so easily been turned into one of those female characters that becomes a doormat for the men in her life, but that doesn't happen. She is a strong woman who owns her sexuality and isn't afraid to ask for what she wants.

Now lets talk about the two men in Little Finn's life: Trick and Declan. The bad boy and the professor.

Trick is a man who is not going to be denied. He wants both Jennifer and Declan in his life, and he is not above a little sexual torment to get them both right where he wants them. Sweaty and naked.

Declan tries so hard to resist temptation. But when he lets go and takes what he wants, Jen and Trick better hold on for the ride.

Another reason this series is a must buy for me is the family dynamic. The way that Jennifer's siblings and cousins acted and reacted was so real and funny you couldn't help but forgive them. And while there are some shocking revelations in this installment, the family unit is stronger then ever.

If you like your family drama high and your sex scorching hot, please pick up the entire Finn Factor series.

I haven't read about many poly relationships before, so that aspect was interesting.

I don't know if these books keep getting worse the more I read them, or if this one really was worse than the others I've read in this series, but I didn't have a good time.

I liked Jen and Trick's relationship in the beginning, mostly because Trick took his time and there was actual tension. There was promise with Declan too, but the attempt at making him into a sophisticated alpha male really fell flat. I couldn't buy into his feelings for Jen (especially considering how superficial his attraction to her was throughout), but I also had difficulty believing in his feelings for Trick, a person he had supposedly loved for over a decade.

Aside from the plot being weak, the pacing of this book was also really shitty. The plotline with Jen's mother was so abrupt and borderline absurd that I really don't know what the author was thinking. I would have much preferred a story that completely focused on the relationship between Jen, Declan and Trick, instead of trying to stir up shit unnecessarily. I get that this kind of relationship would be difficult for people to accept, but it still would have deserved more than frickin three weeks to develop.

I don't know if I'll keep reading books from this series, but if I do, it probably won't be anytime soon.

The story about our Little Finn, Trick, an ex-con and Declan, her professor.
I think this is the first threesome I actually like among the books I've read, and believe me when I tell you that a ménage is something I'm interested in. But apparently only a few authors know the beauty of it.
I am in love with all the Finns, and I do think I could be one of them, and I want to tell you that this family, all brothers, cousins, parents and even the adoptive ones are so damn good as characters. Their partners are also so easy to love you find yourself wanting more of them, 'cause they always care about each other.
This damn Irish family is my doom. I love them so fucking much I'm having a blast by reading this series.
And I have to admit that the sex scenes are sexy as hell. Even the dirty talk is a great tease.
But, to be honest, the plot hasn't improved. That's why I can't rate this higher.
Tho I don't want you to get discouraged to get this book. It is an exciting story, yes. It is sexy, funny, heart-warming and full of the Finn Club, also yes.

Author RG Alexander continues to blow my mind with each story I read in her Finn Factor series. Just when I think it can't get any better, she proves me wrong. The author did an amazing job with telling Jennifer Finn's story in Ravenous, showing readers how she has matured after all she's been through and becoming the woman both Trick and Declan can claim as theirs. Jen might be Little Finn of the family but she is a Finn through and through and has proven she is tougher than she looks. I really enjoyed those foreplay sex scenes between Jen and Trick which only whetted my appetite for more and throw in Declan in the mix and you have one helluva hot threesome. Declan really brought out the raw sexual energy whenever he was in the room with either one of them. I especially loved his relationship with Trick and the author had me fanning myself. I loved seeing the rest of the Finns again and learning more about their family history. I love this series so much and the author really knocked this one out of the park and left me ravenous for more.

I am doing things backwards this is the first book in the series I have read (although I have read other R.G. Alexander books). BUT Now I have to go and catch up on the Finns because this books was so freaking hot!
I must admit it grabbed me because I have a secret thing for menages...Triads if you will. They just get me going and any time I see a book with them I stop and read the blurb and if it is an author I know well DING!

In this book Little Finn is in college and is being shadowed by a PI named Trick. I mean come on his name gives me goose bumps TRICK! Seems she has a thing going on with Trick in the book before which I need to read to find out. She goes into class and her Professor is HAWT and seems he knows TRICK TOO!
Well small world. Prof + P.I. + School Girl = HAWT Times

This book burned up my kindle! I read it aloud to my husband and HE LOVED IT! Great way to get some ideas and action...oh did I say that.

Meh.

OH. MY. GOD!!! OMG OMG... I loved this story. Jennifer, fearless, loyal, takes no prisoners, goes for what she wants, a true Finn. Declan and Trick, hot dayum, the chemistry between these three WAS OFF THE CHARTS! ! Smoking hot. I loved that they brought out the good in each other, love, desire, needs, wants, future, family. Although it may be "taboo " you can't control who you fall in love with, and I loved that, despite thier love being different, it didn't stop them...
