Interlude - The Stone Legacy 2 - Theresa DaLayne - 5 Stars

This is the second installment to the series and interestingly it doesn't pick up where book 1 left off, this one concentrates on Tara's story and even though it's a fairly short read, this one drew me in and I couldn't put it down.

Now that Tara's memories have been unlocked, she is starting to remember the gruesome torture she endured when she was taken by Sarian, her nightmares are starting to consume her. This along with the fact Z

This is second book of this series I've read by author Theresa Dalayne, and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed both of these story's. Tara might of been raised in a asylum but that didn't make her crazy "NO" it doesn't. She popped in to Moscow with a group of descendants ,but she has to wait for her friends the Stone Guardian battles to claim a friends soul bank that's trapped in the underworld. When you don't have superpowers it's really sucks big time. Tara is so eager to help the group on a miss ...more

This is the second book in the Stone Legacy Series and this book focuses on the character of Tara.

I really like Tara and completely understand how she feels so hopeless. Yet at the same time she is really suffering from the nightmares which is affecting everything about her. It's so hard for her to go to Peter with all of her weaknesses as she just feels like she is letting everyone down.

I really liked how Tara's true self came out in this book and her willingness to do what she could to protect

This was such a great book! The second book in this series follows Tara, and we get to things from her perspective. We see her struggle with her past and come to terms with things in her heart.

What I liked
I really liked being able to see Tara contribute more to the cause. She has been feeling so useless because she doesn't have any powers like the rest of her friends, and I think that it was weighing on her. I do like Tara's character much better than the main character of the series, Zanya. Se

Have you ever come across a book or series where there's so much to say and yet, you can't express your feelings?? That's me right now with Mayan Blood, Interlude, and Lights of Aurora by Theresa DaLayne. These books are FANTASTIC, but they are ones where you HAVE to read to understand just how epic they are. There's magic, action, romance, and tons of page-turning scenes where I felt I could not get enough of these characters.

Theresa DaLayne knows

Wow Theresa i was amazed with the first book now I'm God smacked. It was mind blowing

You just know how to get story going where it set's you're heart on fire with need to finish the book.
Tara may have spent many years in an asylum, but that doesn't make her crazy -just fearless.
I had to go get interlude by kindle unlimited because I didn't expect explanations to be So Wrong.
Instead we are thrown into the world of Tara the best mate of the guardian.
We learn a lot more about Tara her time with sar

*I got this eARC copy of Interlude (The Stone Legacy Series Book 2) in exchange for an honest review.*

This book focuses more on Tara, Peter, and Malachi. I hate Malachi because he has become so well and then into a cruel guy. Well, it turns out he was only pretending to be cruel so his plans could run smoothly. And in the end he was back to being a hero again

Tara is haunted by the memories from being tortured by Sarian, the evil underworld general. She’s afraid to admit that she isn’t strong enough to endure the dreams because she’s the only one without special abilities. Her health declining from lack of sleep and appetite, it’s only a matter of time before things get really bad. She deliberately sabotages her relationship to the only man she will ever love, delusional enough to think he deserves better. Meeting Malachi, she has the opportunity to ...more

Wow! My heart! I am so ecstatic that Tara got a story! Tara is the one in the group with no special abilities. She always feels like a liability. Interlude starts when Zanya and the others are on their mission to retrieve the stone from Sarian. Marzena opened a door in her mind so that they could locate Sarian but along with that have been some repercussions. She has her own demons to deal with from being abused as a child but this has opened the door for her to remember the torture she endured ...more

This book is set directly after book 1, but It's all about Tara.
In case you don't remember Tara is Zanya's BFF. After being taken and tortured by Sarain and letting Marzena dig into her memories to find him in book 1, she is now plagued by nightmares of that time.
She can't eat, she can't sleep, and she feels that she is not worthy of Peter. Not worthy of him for several reasons; her past, before the orphanage, her nightmares, she is a ordinary human in a grou

This is the second book in the Stone Legacy Series and this book focuses on the character of Tara.

Tara still has nightmares from her time with Sarian and also from her past while she lived with her mother. While her best friend, Zanya, is The Guardian, Tara feels hopeless with no powers and tries to help in any way that she can. Unfortunately for Tara, she may end up in more trouble than she could have possibly dreamed of.

I really like Tara and completely understand how she feels so hopeless. Ye

Interlude starts off where Mayan Blood ends, but we get a new perspective on what's happening by Tara, she's a little lost, unsure of herself and wishing that she could help her friends in some tangible way. This story hits my "feeling" center , in that Tara encompasses everything a lot of us feel and go through in the real world. We may not be trying to save the world, but we are trying to get people to see that we matter, that we have something to contribute. That's how Theresa DaLayne's chara ...more

Fans of "Mayan Blood" will love this continuation to The Stone Legacy series!

In "Interlude" you are given Tara's backstory and get to know her better. She is much more than just Zanya's best friend. Tara is a strong character who has dealt with a lot. She believes that her love, Peter, deserves better than a mere mortal. This was a fantastic continuation and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is pretty short and I was able to fi

I received a copy of Interlude in return for an honest review. While this is the second book in the Mayan Stone Legacy, it focused on Tara and her tortured memories/nightmares as well as her relationship with Peter. Theresa DaLayne has done an excellent job fleshing out Tara’s character and her “normalcy” amongst a group of Mayan descendants with a variety of superhuman powers. This story hooked me for the first page and kept my attention to the last. I’m looking forward to reading the third ins ...more

Book 2 in this series takes a look via Tara's story. This writer does an amazing job of portraying Tara coming into her own self worth. This character is so young and insecure and just wants to have a purpose, the story of every emerging adult. Once again this amazing writer hooks you into storyline immediately which made this book just fly by! The journey is a great one and highly entertaining so add to your read list! A copy was given to me for an unbiased review.

I so enjoyed this second book of this series. I was glad to read about Tara and how she was able to help even if she did not have special powers like the others. This is full of action and suspense and so exciting that I could not put it down. Can't wait to see what is coming next in this series.
