Fawn is a powerful witch who didn’t even know magic existed.

Caleb is a fallen angel stuck in hell until he is tasked with seducing the witch Fawn and bring her to the dark side. This should be easy since that was his forte for centuries. But the connection between himself and his assignment makes Caleb rethink his path.

From there you have danger, romance and ultimately a betrayal that threatens to tear them apart forever.

This was a very quick read but the transition between certain scenes left out a chunk of time that didnt feel completely natural. Even with the action some parts were a little dull and I had to push myself to keep reading. The magic was fun but overall I feel like the story was missing that wow factor. It felt like the typical urban fantasy with witches, angels, and other supernatural beings. I also noticed a couple grammatical errors but nothing major. Its possible my review copy wasnt

A witch who is reluctant to use her magic. A dark angel who struggles between his growing attraction towards her and fulfilling the mission he was give. What could possibly go wrong? This book takes you on a wild journey of navigating your college years, but with the looming threat of the devil hanging over your head. It's a fast paced tale that keeps the readers guessing as to how Fawn will get herself out of this mess, and if she'll really get her happily ever after. This is the first book I r ...more

I received a copy of this book directly from the author/publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I could not finish this book. I wanted to. In fact, I made it further into this book than I normally do when I DNF. Chapter 19. 67% into the story. Let me explain what happened.

This book started off slow. There were tedious bits of over explanation of things the main character probably should have already known before the start of the story. The author had a habit of introducing new things into the

Ready for some magic?

Fawn is a witch. And a powerful one, at that. In fact, according to an ancient prophecy, Fawn's magic could be the strongest to ever exist and she could play an important role in the future of the world as she knows it. But that doesn't mean that she wants to go along with destiny's plan for her.

Caleb lives in Hell. No, literally. He is a dark angel who is indebted t

I had mixed feelings about this book. I really liked some parts of it and others I didn't. I also alternated between being annoyed by the main character Fawn and really liking her. I found that the first half of the book was really enjoyable and fast-paced while the second half seemed to drag on a bit. I don't really think that Fawn and Caleb's trip to gather allies with the Salem witches and other covens of witches was reall

A Lucifer vs God story you'd never expect, yet is highly satisfying.

What do witches, werewolves, vampires, Lucifer and God all have in common? They are all characters that are woven together beautifully in The Belgrave Legacy. While reading I felt drawn into Caleb & Fawn's world. Yeah, I know. You're thinking with a witch involved why can't she just magic her way out of trouble. Well, you can't bibbidy-bobbidy-boo yourself out of this dilemma no matter how hard you try. There are unexpected twi

DNF at 40%. The writing is terrible, and conversations were awkward and didn't sound realistic. The story was silly, because things like a twin bond, having a guy say he's your guardian and believing him, and then dating him don't make any sense. The main character is in college but reads like a preteen. I definitely don't recommend it. ...more

So, during PaperFury’s first Beautiful Books link-up for this year (more on that here and here if you’re interested!), I perused some of the authors linking up for NaNoWriMo. Among them was Zara Hoffman, writing the ever-intriguing Unmoored, spin-off to her first novel The Belgrave Legacy. After going in and reading about her book, I was quite interested in it!

I really enjoyed this book, the story of fallen angel Caleb sent to romance and seduce Fawn so he can finally get out of Hell and see his family in Heaven. Fawn is a very powerful witch prophesied to save the world. I enjoyed the storyline even though there were a few hiccups and I really liked the characters. You have God, The Devil, witches fallen angels, demons, romance, and some action to boot, what more could you want?!?!?!

It took me a bit to read this book because you need to devote time and no distractions. I didn't feel hooked in but I felt like Fawn was well written she was more than people saw for and that's how I see this book. people are too quick to judge without taking every effort to stop and truly read into this gem and see the beauty between the pages. thank you for writing this. ...more

Honestly speaking I don’t know what to rate this book or how to review it. I don’t even know where to start. Maybe on first impression? Right.

First impression of this book is it will be a good book. It was good in the beginning while I’m still learning the characters and the flow of the story. It was smooth sailing and good. It wasn’t until around 20% of the book that I’m starting to get confused.

The story is

The Belgrave Legacy puts an interesting slant on the ongoing battle between heaven and hell. Lucifer's fall from heaven is still grating on his nerves and he will resort to any means to defeat his father and take control.

Fawn comes from a long line of witches and she is part of a prophecy which could save the world. She comes into her full power on her sixteenth birthday and is more powerful than she can imagine. However, she is quite content to live a normal life without resorting to using the

Boring, riddled with plots holes and skipping major plot and character development, The Belgrave Legacy was by far not one of the best things I have ever read. In a world of angels and demons, there is one girl who is going to decided whether good or evil will prevail. Fawn is destined to be the most powerful witch ever, and with great power comes great responsibility. Wanting to sway Fawn to his side, Satan sends his best, and that best is Caleb. What he didn't see coming was that Caleb might

Fawn and Caleb are wonderfully interesting characters with so much potential and even the plot begs to be loved. Fawn's predicament is original and demands sympathy. She has no idea who she is or what she's capable of. She's an unexpecting target with a big heart and discovers she does have a lot fight. Caleb, on the other hand, is the perfect bad-boy. Caught in service to Lucifer, he's got a very dark past. He's hot, and he's tough, but with Fawn, he might have met his match.

The premise definit

I liked the concept of The Belgrave Legacy and at the start Fawn Belgrave, an extraordinary witch learning to use her powers, held my attention. However as the story progressed and the battle between God and Lucifer for her evolved I found myself losing attention in places. While Caleb worked as a love interest and dark angel who was trying to change his path, I wasn't completely convinced about the romance and felt like sometimes the story slowed down too much or jumped ahead without really bri ...more
