Audiobook review. The story really gave the characters the opportunity to develop and grow individually and as a unit. Frankly, I was surprised by the very slow build despite the first meeting of Trinity and Walker having been when they locked lips as strangers in a bar. I think with that kind of introduction, I was expecting it to be a quick burn. Their personalities and demeanor was mature. They are done playing games and are ready to settle down with someone. They seem unwilling to give time ...more

I love it when I start a book without any expectations and end up devouring it in one sitting!

I didn’t know what to expect about this new contemporary by Lorelei James. I haven’t read much of her work except for a handful of her Blacktop Cowboys series but the few I’ve read I enjoyed her writing very much and have good memories of sizzling chemistry and lovable characters.

Just What I Needed is not exception to the above and is the sort of story that grips you right i

5 Walker-Is-Mine Stars

I have a problem, and his name is Walker. It’s a problem because HE’S NOT IN MY PANTS RIGHT NOW! I’ve been indifferent of the long hair/man bun. I can usually take it or leave it, but in this case, I’ll take it!

My Walker:

Norway based Naval Officer and @betsafe ambassador Lasse L. Matberg (@lasselom) spent his 2015 being voted the official

More Walker...He's just....UNF!:

Lasse L. Matberg. This beautiful man is an officer in the Norwegian Army. Oh, did I mention that he: ">

I cannot get enough of Walker:

Lasse showed his butch side with a snap of him wood chopping, with the caption:

My Trinity:

Trendy Medium Hairstyles for Women (3):

Walker works in construction. Yeah, can he get any hotter or more perfect?! I think not. He is actually from a wealthy family, but he is the rugged man in his family and the glue
“How about we have a drink and you can tell me the real reason you used your tongue to introduce yourself instead of a handshake?”

I adored this book!!

Walker Lund is sexy as hell with his viking look, the man bun, the beard and add the fact that he’s a carpenter that works with his hands for a living and I just want to lick him like a lollipop. Throw in the fact that he doesn’t have commitment issues, and he’s the perfect hero. Except that he hasn’t met the right woman, until Trinity walks

Just What I Needed was fun, flirty and oh-so-hot! But it had a serious side to it as well. Trinity’s issues were more at the forefront, but Walker had some struggles as well. I loved that these two just clicked and got each other so well, were a listening and supportive ear through their trials.

At first Trinity’s manic, impulsive behavior had me wanting to shake some sense into her, but she grew on me. She had a zest for life and a fun sense of humor, a believable personality for an artist. Als

This is second in a series and while you don't need to read the first for this one to be perfectly comprehensible, I'd recommend you do.

Okay, I admit I had to edit out the man bun and every reference to "lumbersexual" in my head. So not my thing. Other than that, Walker is one of the best leading men in romance and worth reading the book for all on his own. Sigh. I love those strong, capable, caring guys who are kind without being doormats and who want nothing more than the right person to make

This was a fun read, playful and light. I really enjoyed it!

Walker and Trinity had a cute first meeting that had me smiling. I liked the flow of their relationship, it seemed rather instant but in a way that is full of excitement when you first meet someone and want to spend all your time with them. They were so sweet together, I liked their interactions. I loved Walker. He was so kind, caring, understanding, and patient. Trinity was a quirky chick and had some issues with self doubt but I love

The second installment in Lorelei James’s Need You series is as well written as all of her other books. From the opening scene, we get tons of insight into the personalities of both Walker and Trinity with a really charming introduction. Their first moments together are unique, funny and make for a great “how’d you two meet” story.

There are so many layers to this story. Interestingly, neither shares who they really are with the other. They both fear their family connections will negatively affec

ugh! this book really throws me from my peace. the story is horrible. dragging. not even slow burn.

the chemistry between the characters are nowhere ti be seen. but there is a lot of commotion of bartering lunch dinner and date. but nothing happens.

walker is irritating. not even alpha male. trinity... is just 1 dimension of character. she is lack of self confidence in everything.

not for me.

Just What I Needed is a lovely contemporary romance that made my heart happy and my world a better place. I love a sexy story about finding the one that completes you when you’re not even looking.

Trinity is an artist who has this amazingly creative mind. She is one of my favorite heroine’s of all time. She’s quirky and genuine with a dash of neurosis. I am not sure that I have ever related so much to a heroine as I do Trinity. She is very

When I heard that Lorelei James was switching gears into different genres I got pretty excited to see what she would come up with. I have NOT been disappointed.
I fell in love with the quirky Lund family in What You Need, and hoped to hell this series will run its full course.
In this book we get to meet Walker, the self proclaimed black sheep. Insert Trinity, the aloof artist, and together they struggle with finding out how to manage a real relationship and discover that they are exactly what th

These Lunds are killing me! They're so wonderfully lovable, so endearingly human, and so full of heart that I keep losing my own heart to them over and over again.

I crazy adored Walker and Trinity. It took me a little bit to warm up to the story—I mean, it starts off with a bang and hooked me immediately, but for whatever reason. I didn't open my heart to Walker and Trinity immediately. I always approach these "billionaire love stories" with a bit of skepticism, so I feel like the author needs t

Oh my gosh!!! I loved this book. LOVED! I was in the mood for a light-hearted, fun contemporary romance, and Lorelei James delivered perfectly. I really enjoyed the first book in the Need You series, but Just What I Needed is definitely my favorite of the series so far. The hero is swoony and perfect, the heroine is down-to-earth and quirky, and the romance between them is so freaking sweet! My heart was seriously so happy with this book. I highly recommen

I loved how this story began and the way it highlights how quirky our heroine is. Do you ever have a strong impulse to touch, lick or um kiss something? How about sauntering up to a guy at a bar, and place a red-hot kiss on him? That is exactly what Trinity did. The two connect but she ends up giving him her old disconnected telephone number and he thinks her name is Amelia. Ooops! Yep, did I mention Trinity is a refreshingly quirky? She is also a fuller figured heroine who felt incredibly genui ...more

Im a bit torn on how to rate this book, maybe a 3.5 rating..

I quite liked the beginning of the book, Trinity was quirky, the dialogue was funny and the storyline quite fun. But the book started to lose me probably around mid point. It started to get repetitive and less funny. It was kind of too insta-love ish.

Walker was a hottie, I liked how he was referred to as a viking and went out on his own rather than fall into the family business. He was sweet and

A funny thing happened today when I opened my copy of Just What I Needed to pull some quotes for my review — I ended up reading it for the second time. Trinity and Walked pulled me right back in and I couldn’t stop once I started. Much like after the first time, I’ll say that Walker Lund is the real deal and if you need me I’ll be sitting over here with a serious case of swoons and a book hangover. Loved this one.

Loved this book! Lorelei James knows how to write romance. Period. Walker and Trinity's chemistry and romance is hot and sweet. However, I think Selka really stole her scenes in this book. I love that woman.

I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Many thanks to the author for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I WANT MORE!!!!...I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. I could not put this down. It was "just what I needed" the perfect romance story between Walker and Trinity. I laughed out loud, cried, heart melting, smiling and the constant "sigh". I am totally crushing on this couple!!

Just What I Needed is a knock-your-socks-off story from the first page to the final page. Trinity is a feisty heroine and Walker is a totally sigh worthy hero. Together they complete each other. Although the ride to their happily-ever-after will keep you up reading long past your bedtime you won't regret a single turn of the page. Ms. James knows how to write a well rounded book. The story is complete and gives you insight into what makes this couple and all the secondary characters tick. Well d ...more

Lorelei James did it again! I’m so loving the Lund family! Just What I Needed is the 2nd book in The Need You Series. Walker is from a close knit family but is feeling disconnected because his family is drifting apart. Trinity is a talented, quirky artist with low self esteem. The romance and chemistry between Walker and Trinity is awesome! Their story pulls you in, makes you laugh, cry and crave a happily ever-after.

ARC provided by the author, but that has not influenced my review

Oh I loved it! Great second book for the series. Walker has my heart! He and trinity are the perfect pair. I love how they get each other so well and won't walk away without a fight. And I love how you get to see all the characters in this book I love the whole Lund family. They make me wish they were mine lol. And selka god she is a riot I love her and her mixed up sayings. Once again a great read and can't wait for the next one.
I was given an arc for my honest opinion of this book.

Lorelei James made me drunk off this book! Normally, we readers fly through books and want more. Walker Lund gave me plenty!
I lolly gagged while reading, not in a bad way, I didn't want it to end!
Such a fun love Walker and Trinity have.
Definitely grab up this one, and book #1 if you haven't.

I received an ARC of Just What I Needed by Lorelei James for an honest review. In no way did the ARC change the way I felt about the story or my review on it.
Just What I Needed is the next installment with the Lund Family. Uber-rich family based out of Minneapolis, MN. Walker Lund however does not have much to do with Lund Industries; he only serves on the board and openly admits that he ‘checks out’ about half way though those meeting. Walker is a co-owner of a construction/renovation company.

Of the books I've read by Lorelei James so far, I've really enjoyed her writing. I've never read one of her straight-up contemporaries before, so I couldn't wait to dive in and meet the hunky stranger our main character confronts in a bar for an unforgettable introduction.

Trinity Carlson is not having the best day. Throw in the fact that her ex-boyfriend walks into the bar she's drinking at with the women he cheated on her with, and Trinity has hit a serious low. To save face, Trinity marches u

JUST WHAT I NEEDED is the second book of the Need You series. Now if you haven’t read this series before, then just know that this is a Contemporary Romance series, not an Erotic one. However, James does throw Trinity Carlson and Walker Lund together very quickly.

Trinity is experiencing the worst day ever when she tries to salvage it at a dive bar. However, there she encounters her with his brand new girlfriend. It’s enough to throw her over the edge but instead of hitting the road, she actu

What I Needed is just what this book delivered. I honestly did not think I would like this one better than the first in this series but boy was I wrong! I LOVED this book! Walker and Trinity are the perfect ying and yang. I loved that Lorelei made Trinity quirky and imperfect, just like women are. She kept her real and didn't make her all conform to what the man wanted. And Walker??? Sheesh what can I say about him other than he's the perfect man! Walker and Trinity. The story of the middle son that gets over looked and the daughter that was born to a parent that didn't really want her.

Walker's dealing with a Jan Brady moment in his life. He feels as if his family only calls on him when they need something from him yet don't take the time to seek him out and find out how his life is going.

What a sweet, funny, sexy read, it had you cheering them on and screaming at their family and friends. It had you wanting to strangle not only Trinity’s family, but you wanted to slap Walker’s family as well. Loved this book and looking forward to this series continuing.

Walker Lund never expected to walk into a bar after a crappy day and have a woman lay a kiss on him he would never forget. But after getting a fake name and number he finds his mood is not improving until he runs into her again a
