This covers all meals of the day, plus snacks and some staples like homemade ricotta, mayonnaise, preserved meyer lemons, and spice blends, but as always, I'm mostly interested in breakfast, dessert, and anything you bake. Those recipes use flours from oats, millet, almond, sorghum, and rice; starches from arrowroot, potato, and tapioca; and ingredients like whole milk, whole milk yogurt, psyllium husk powder, milk powder, and butter. No gums.

Measurements are in U.S. volume and grams. Color phot

This author helps readers navigate cooking gluten-free. First, she helps with suggestions about setting up a pantry to make cooking Gluten-Free easier. She helps readers embrace new techniques and asks them to think about abandoning some familiar ways of doing things to help make tasty meals and treats. I like that this author lists alternative flours, for recipes. There are many beautiful color photos throughout the book, about every third recipe had a picture.

In the beginning, she lists flours

I won this cookbook from Goodreads First-reads and I love this cookbook. If you are a foodie, love to prepare and eat delicious food, love to try new recipes and be in charge of the ingredients that you put into your body, and those who need specifically to eat gluten-free food will love this cookbook. Samantha Seneviratne has reason to be proud of this cookbook and Stephen Kent Johnson has photographed the food beautifully. There are many recipes including breakfast and brunch, soups, sides, an ...more

Let me start out by saying that my family and I do not eat gluten free. I do, however, have multiple friends who are dealing with celiac or other gluten issues, and it is interesting to cook for them. I wanted some good recipes to cook for my friends. Well, this book does the trick!

I started with the Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting. It was pretty easy to make, and I was amazed by the results. I took it to church for Sunday potluck, and the plate was scraped clean. Even the non-gluten free

I won this book in a Goodreads Giveaway.

I don't keep a gluten-free diet but I am pleased to see there are delicious and nutritious alternatives out there for people who do and for people like me who want to cut back on gluten.

Samantha Seneviratne did a wonderful job on these recipes, making them each more creative than the next and moving away from the stereotype that gluten-free means either a sugar-heavy diet or meat and vegetables, all the time. As a lover of gluten-FULL pizza, (especially C

I received this book as part of the Goodreads First Reads program for the purpose of a fair review.

Overview: It seems like more and more people turning to gluten-free meals. With so many unable to eat wheat, how does one feed his or her family? Maybe this book can help.

Likes: The tips and replacement flours are found rather close to the front of the book. The pork chops and the candies are good.

Dislikes: Tomatoes are part of the nightshade family. That plant is famous for the poisonous members,

I was so excited when I won this book. I, personally, do not eat gluten-free, but I have a niece and nephew that do and finding recipes for them always seems like a task when they come for a visit or a holiday. I did find a few recipes that I would make, but I'm even more excited to pass this cookbook on to my sister-in-law, because there are a ton of things in there that they eat (I'm a fussy eater).

I just won a copy of this book from a Goodreads giveaway. I can't wait to receive it and try out some of the recipes! Thank you Goodreads and Crown Publishing Group!

This was a great gluten-free cookbook! There were so many recipes that I never would have thought of my own. Yummy breakfasts, dinners, desserts, and more. This book helps to get rid of the confusion and makes it easy to get started with a gluten-free diet.

With many people being gluten intolerant and the spread of gluten free dining, its nice to get to find an easy to read and follow collection of gluten free recipes. Only two recipes in this collection feature meat or seafood. but most appear appetizing. This was a free review copy through Goodreads.com.

A really good, easy to use cookbook. It includes a section on how to stock your pantry for gluten free cooking, also. The only thing I would do to improve it is give more traditional American recipes.

Received for free through Goodreads giveaways. Even though I'm not gluten free I still found some good recipes in this cookbook. I like my cookbooks to have plenty of pictures of the recipes which this did.

Everything about this book is fantastic with exception to the small font size that was used in printing it. Way too small. Unfortunate that I have to use a magnifying glass to read it.

I won a hard copy of this book from GoodReads.
