As I sit here trying to write this review I find myself tongue tied. This book evoked such a powerful response in me that I have no idea how to convey it. Not to mention trying to do that without any spoilers LOL!

Blood Betrayed is the second book in Gabrielle Bisset's Sons of Navarus series and is Saint's story. Saint, otherwise known as Declan Collins, is the brother of Teagan who was Vasilije's vampire that got staked at the beginning Blood Avenged.

Lady Raven RAVE!

In book one of Blood Avenged (Sons of Navarus #1), we were left with a cliff hanger with a war brewing between Archons and the Sons of Navarus. Also, we were introduced to all eight of the Sons of Navarus, whom, will be taking on the Archons. Book two of the Sons of Navarus is about Declan aka Saint.

Obviously there is a war brewing, so there isn't a clear resolution/ conclusion as the series becomes more in depth. However, certain things were brought to the surface as it relates to the w

I read the first book of this series some time ago. I forgot about it and then while looking for a paranormal romance to fill in space between audio book listening hours, I found what I didn't know I lost. The first book was about a vampire named Vasilije and he had a nasty edge that I liked. It was clear at the end the first book that this was a series. The vampire good guy gang he belonged to is called the Sons of Navarus. There is also the required fraction war going on between the Sons and A ...more

Awesome Read!

Declan Collins, aka: SAINT – oh what a sexy man! a man every women wishes she had when it comes to being worshiped and satisfied beyond your imagination. The mystery behind Saint and the reason he is called Saint is revealed in this awesome story and why he only got nourishment from and had sex with human women instead of the vampires of his own kind. Let me tell you, the steam rolls off the pages as the visual of the words become graphic. (Time for a cold shower, better yet where i

For as long as anyone can remember, the vampire known as the Saint has eschewed the company of his fellow vampires. Taking his sustenance from human women only, he is something of an anomaly. Now marked for death by the Archons, the Saint is forced by the other Sons of Navarus to go into hiding while they try to solve the ancient prophecy guiding their actions. Unfortunately, Declan Collins has n

In the second book in the Sons of Navarus series Gabrielle is still keeping her readers enraptured with the characters in this story. I can not wait until the next story is released. If you like paranormal romance with some extra heat added in you will not be disappointed.

Declan is a vampire haunted by a betrayal so damaging that it had him sentenced to solitary for years and has not left his mind or heart for centuries. He does not associate often with the vampires he has sired just as his sire

This is the second book in the Sons of Navarus series (third if you include Vampire Dreams Revamped) and I’m still fully enjoying the series. Gabrielle is keeping the series going strong; packed full of action, surprises, hot alpha vampires, romance and hot sex that make for a great read for any fan of the genre.

Saint is a hottie of an alpha vampire that has been shunned, forced to live among humans and away from his kind for years. He’s lived his years taking only human blood and human woman to

This extraordinary story will have you wanting to jump into the pages of the book and wrap your arms around Saint to protect him from the hea

Absolutely took my breath away!!!

Wow!! Another amazing story in 'Sons of Navarus'. "Saint" will take your breath away as you read about his trials in his past and present life as a vampire. This series is a 'must read' and I highly recommend it to everyone.

This is the second book in an ongoing series of eight. The third issue is to be available in September 2012.

Gabrielle Bisset is a wonderful author and her writing skills are amazing. You will laugh, cry and sigh with these hot alpha-male vamp

Great second book in the Sons Of Navarus series! Loved how the story wove from back scenes to current time, kept up a great pace and really keep you involved from beginning to end! I must mention that the love scenes were very very hot-as we like them to be! But I only enjoy those hot love scenes when they have a great story and characters to go along with them! I highly encourage you to get this book-make sure you start with the first in the series though and they are both great reads! Enjoy!

This book was incredible and I LOVED it!!!

The story line and world that Gabrielle creates is one that I wish I was a part of. This book had everything: love, betrayal, suspense, action, steamy sex, and lots and lots of passion. I already purchased the next book in the series "Blood Spirit" and I can't wait to read it.

Thanks so much Gabrielle for writing another great book. I love your work and this series is definitely among my favorites. :)

I dont know who had more emotion, me from reading what Saint has went through or poor Saint going through it. My heart ached for him and I even heard myself say out loud "Oh no!!!" His brother was a jerk for what he did. I have to stop typing cause I'm afraid I will give some the the book away. If it wasnt for the fact that the body needs to sleep I could have had this book read in a day. Loved it!!

This book was phenominal. The love story between Saint and Sonnelle was so touching . How they forgave each other was so moving. And Gabrielle had me on the edge of my seat with all her twists and turns, I was biting my nails. She brings me into this world where i care for these characters so much. A must read!!

This is the 2nd novel I have read by the author and I was not disappointed. This is Declan's (AKA Saint) story. I was happy to see this story was different than Blood Avenged (#1). This author knows how to describe erotic scenes! I am very certain that I will be purchasing the next book in the series.

Love to last centuries

I really loved the complex relationship of Declan and Solenne. Nothing in this series comes simple so lots of twist and turns. This story almost added too many sex scenes that they took away from the actual story. Overall great addition and the story did move on from book 1 so I would recommend reading them in order.

My Dearest Vasilije,

Sweetheart, you stole my heart right from the start. Dare I say, you had me at “hello” Your bravery, strength, and power initially attracted me…but it was your heart and your passion that won me over. You are so wise and intelligent, I can’t really say there is anything about you that I don’t adore. Dark, mysterious…Romanian. You have been the vampire of my dreams. And for our time together… my darling, I can do nothing but thank you.

But my love, Vasilije, I have found anothe

When I read the first book in this series, I thought it was just an okay read because of how I felt about the heroine and a small issue with the epilogue. That being said, I wanted to continue on because I saw potential for it to be better as it went. I am so glad that I did continue with the series. I found this book much better than the first for several reasons. The main characters and their situation grabbed me from the get-go and the building story arc of the internal civil war and the impo ...more

Blood Betrayed is another sure-to-please treat guaranteed to satisfy paranormal romance lovers! Layered with passion and suspense, Gabrielle Bisset has written a tale of betrayal that will take you by surprise. To add more depth to this story the author has also expertly woven in Greek mythology that makes the story come to life in a way beyond just simple writing. From the very beginning her world buildi

One of the coolest things about this series to me is how the vampires are portrayed. They’re not rally shown as good or bad people, but more like humans, except that they have stronger, more animalistic instincts and needs. This is shown even more in this book than the first. Saint fights those needs and instincts until his weakness threatens to endanger him. And wouldn’t you know, Solenne is only too willing to help fulfill his needs, and a surprise presence will take him over the edge to surre ...more

So glad to have been introduced to this series! The first book, Blood Avenged, is definitely must read as this book picks up right where the first book leaves off. No time is wasted repeating the everything you already learned and things pick up quickly.

Saint is marked for death by the Archons and while he is not particularly liked by the other Sons of Navarus, he is still one of them and important in bringing down the crooked Archons. So it is decided he must go in to hiding and Solenne has of

Declan Collins was a solitary, difficult vampire who had been shunned from the vampire world for ten years. He refused to keep in contact with those he sired and he preferred human women to take his nourishment and sex from. This alone made the vampire community look down upon him but Declan, or Saint as he was now being called, could care less what others thought. He was a very handsome and sexy vampire and had no trouble getting women, vampire or human. He was also a member of the Sons of Nava ...more

Book 2 is about Saint, a 100 year old vampire outcast for his 'crime' of violating the sacred bond between vampire and sire. Not wanting to give too much away, I won't give a full summary. Saint is somewhat of an anomaly in the vampire world. He doesn't fraternize with other vampires. Not sleeping with vampires, even ones he's made, earns him the nickname Saint. He takes comfort in the momentary comfort with the human women he makes love to, giving them happiness, stealing some of that happiness ...more

Blood Betrayed is the second book in the Sons of Navarus series, and is the story of Declan Collins, also known as Saint. He is the brother of Teagan, one of Vasilije's vampires who got killed in the first book, Blood Avenged. In this book we find out the reason he has the nickname of Saint, and believe me, he is no Saint. And although he and his brother were turned at the same time, we find out why they had different sires, and how that affected who they were and how they acted. Saint is a very ...more

I highly recommend this book to paranormal romance readers, erotica readers, and vampire lovers out there.
This book will take you on a roller coaster of emotions though. Be prepared for some hot sex scenes, sad scenes, and scenes that will make you want to slap someone around. Grrr, I was so mad on what happened between Solenne and Saint. Oh…and don’t even get me started on what Saint had to deal with at the beginning of it all.

"Blood Betrayed" is the second book in the 'Sons of Navarus' series and starts right off with a flashback where the first book ends. Gabrielle's character development in this second book was outstanding and the story line filled with plenty of passion and sex hooked me right in. I was surprised that the book kept me guessing throughout the whole thing, usually in a series you can almost figure everything out.. A great great that is highly recommended for all vampire lovers.
