Packer's shorter writings on the Christian life are some of his best. His essay on Predestination and Sanctification is a must-read. His biblical knowledge is deep, his writings style clear and succinct, and his wit is perfectly placed.

32 essays on the Church (includes sacrament of Lord's Supper), Revival in the Church (including reflection on the charismatic movement from 1980), Evangelism, and Christian Living.
