At last! A book about gardening in the Ozarks. All the usual gardening advice is for other areas. The Ozarks is unique as full afternoon sun will burn out the tomatoes and peppers, the soil is usually up to half gravel, temperatures bounce and more to frustrate any gardener.
This is a series of gardening columns written years ago. They are short, fast reading. Some have lots of gardening ideas. Others have Ozark gardening lore. Some are historic or just plain interesting. They are organized in monthly sections.
Don't expect a gardening how-to. It isn't. Do expect gardening ideas and history and advice.
