“Superheroes give up most of their right to be selfish when they become what they are” (Kindle Locations 162-163).

Candace Bristol and her water power are back… Decades later and the story isn’t about her and her romance with Jackson anymore, it’s about their daughter Phoebe. A Natural superhero with both mother and father superheroes, Phoebe is destined to be a super and grew up both sheltered from the outside world and raised within the superhero community. Feebs trained before she knew what he

In a world of superheroes, Phoebe Lawrence has a lot of pressure on her plate between her love life, saving the world and learning to control her powers. Daughter of the famous hero couple from the Starla's previous series, The Evolution; she is expected to become as awesome of a superhero as her parents were. A romantic action-filled story, Spark follows Phoebe as she learns control, love and responsibility.
I found Spark to be very similar to the first book in the Evolution series. It had its
I really loved this first book in the companion trilogy to Huchton's Evolution series. It was pretty awesome to revisit this world and its characters, and to see Candice and Jackson as parents-- especially Jackson as a father. LOVED IT. It's interesting to see the world post-ANGEL project, with all the repercussions of the events of the Evolution series, and the differences between Nautrals and Alters. Phoebe's power is so intriguing, and the description of it is even more so-- and to see how th ...more

I wanted to love this one. Really, I did. But the whole thing left me feeling....

We had this super awesome superhero world going on and what does this whole book center around? Finding out about more super cool superheros? Nope. Try horny teenagers who are too busy being sappy. Do we get to find out about new and interesting powers? Nope. Instead, all the kids take after one of their parents for their powers. Now how

After reading the first book in the series, I was hooked! I devoured all the rest of the books and was so sad to see the story end.
I was beyond ecstatic to learn there was a follow up!
This story is of the children of the main characters of the first books and it does not disappoint!!
The action is packed, the twists are ones you don't see coming and the writing is perfection!
We see the characters start as children and grow into responsible and amazing superheroes. I just hope there are more to co

I have been never disappointed in a Starla Huchton book and I'm not starting now. This book reminds of "Angel",the first book of the Evolution series just in the way that it flows. Intro to our main people, lots of drama, then suspence and drama...last...frustration because I want to know what happens next NOW! I love the idea of the power female role Phoebe has inherited from her mother. I also like Jackson and Foster don't seem to hate riding backseat to the women in their lives taking lead. T ...more

Who needed Normal

I absolutely love this series. From the very first one Angel to now the Chronicles of Isle book. I hope the next one will be out soon, I know it's been awhile since these books were published, but I'm so glad I found them because I hated putting them down.
If you need a awesome book to read, start with Angel, you will not regret it.

Sexy Superheroes are back! It's the next generation and we get their stories as they come into their powers along with new superheroes. But there's trouble! The heroes we loved in the first trilogy are growing weaker. The next generation is going to have to step up and figure out what's happening.
