Darina Lisle has been asked to cook for a weekend being held by the Society of Historical Gastronomes. The gathering is full of tensions and rivalries and professional jealousies as well as a TV crew filming the gathering.

When someone is murdered it is hardly a surprise but Darina finds, as well as cooking for everyone, that she is under suspicion as she found the body and she actually does have a credible motive for the crime.

Pretty good. British! Interesting. I'll start the second one soon. One aspect I liked a lot was the fact that it was not always (but mostly) from the main character's perspective. There was one chapter that wasn't. 3.75 wavering to 4, maybe 3.8.
