Twin Runes is a nice book. Maybe a little old fashioned plotwise but seriously hot and sensual with a cute main couple and an open ending.

Rebecca Brooke has never let me down when I am looking for a book to get lost into and Twin Runes is no different. Sexy and dramatic the dynamic between Kara, Larson and Jakob kept me guessing till the end and had me completely enthralled. This author has a terrific array of books that are on a lot of go to lists, and she is very talented, but this book is my absolute favorite! I absolutely loved this book! It hits all the elemental buttons for me that I want in a book, it just has everything. I was sucked into the story from the start. Excellent on every level! This book started well and ended well. It captured my attention and kept it the entire time. Every single character was important. I loved that! As soon as something was uncovered, it led to more intrigue. Man! And even though I was satisfied with the ending, I so wanted more. Bring it on!!! (I'm not kidding, I am well and truly hooked.)

While I did finish the entire novel, I kind of found it hard to do so. The description was great, (the cover not so much), but I felt that as sci-fi, it was pretty basic (power over elements from a different realm) and it's so strange to say but I'm not overly fond of curse words in novels if they don't serve a specific purpose (they seemed randomly placed). I am a huge fan of Rebecca Brooke's and was a little hesitant to read Twin Runes since it is unlike any of the other books she's written. I am definitely happy I took the chance on this book and on a different genre than I usually read, because this book was AMAZING!

I'm not a big reader of paranormal, but I'm not entirely green. There are just other genres that I find myself more interested in. But one of my friends suggested this book to me, so I decided to give it a try.

This honestly has got to be by far one of my favorite paranormal reads out there! The story line was so fast paced and unique that I literally could not get enough and was left desperate for more!
