Nothing is as unsettling as waking up in the hospital with no memory. Something about the gorgeous man sitting beside her bed seems familiar, making her feel things she doesn't recognize. Larsen agrees to help her until she gains her memory back. What he doesn't tell her is that he knows every piece of her life, even the parts she isn't allowed to remember. His feelings gr ...more

Twin Runes offers a unique blend of the Paranormal and New Adult genre. I found the book to be a highly entertaining and a thoroughly enjoyable read.

"I don't know my name....!"-Kara
Kara wakes up in a hospital with a pounding headache and no memory. Although she should feel panic, instead she feels perfectly at peace due to the presence of one good looking man by her side. Larsen knows exactly who Kara is. He has been sent to the "earth world" to protect her.

Twin Runes is a nice book. Maybe a little old fashioned plotwise but seriously hot and sensual with a cute main couple and an open ending.

Just so you know this is a paranormal romance, i point that out because yes, the title hints it but the synopsis doesn't really clue the reader in. So let's start, we have Larsen, Kara and a whole new Realm.

Kara wakes up in a hospital room, with no recollection and the sexiest man she ever met on her side. Larsen is here in order to protect Kara from

This is a new genre for Brooke but she knocked it out the park.
Kara wakes up with no memories and is instantly drawn to the gorgeous stranger beside her bed.
She doesn't realize he's there for her protection, but he was never meant to meet her.
He can't resist, just as drawn to her.
With danger lurking, she'll have to to accept she isn't what she always believed

Rebecca Brooke has never let me down when I am looking for a book to get lost into and Twin Runes is no different. Sexy and dramatic the dynamic between Kara, Larson and Jakob kept me guessing till the end and had me completely enthralled. I am recently new paranormal reader and Twin Runes was the kind of book that both captivated me and kept me thinking the whole way through.

Karalynn wakes up in the hospital room with no memory of who she is and how she got there. Add to that the fact that ther

Loved it!
This author has a terrific array of books that are on a lot of go to lists, and she is very talented, but this book is my absolute favorite! I absolutely loved this book! It hits all the elemental buttons for me that I want in a book, it just has everything. I was sucked into the story from the start. The fast paced mystery and action really keep you turning those pages on the edge of your seat. In my case, and I'll wager that with a great deal of the people reading this book also, ther

This is the first book I've read by Rebecca Brooke & I loved it!!!!

When Kara wakes up in the hospital with no memory she doesn't know that her whole life is about to change! She has no memory of what happened to land her in jail, nor anything else about her her life.

Larsen's job is to watch over Karalynn. When she takes a shortcut walking home one night he looses site of her. By the time he found her she had been attacked & was unconscious. When she finally wakes in the hospital he is sitting b

Excellent on every level! This book started well and ended well. It captured my attention and kept it the entire time. Every single character was important. I loved that! As soon as something was uncovered, it led to more intrigue. Man! And even though I was satisfied with the ending, I so wanted more. Bring it on!!! (I'm not kidding, I am well and truly hooked.) ...more

While I did finish the entire novel, I kind of found it hard to do so. The description was great, (the cover not so much), but I felt that as sci-fi, it was pretty basic (power over elements from a different realm) and it's so strange to say but I'm not overly fond of curse words in novels if they don't serve a specific purpose (they seemed randomly placed). The characters themselves tried to hard and didn't give the reader any emotional attachment. Again, it was entertaining since I did read th ...more

I am a huge fan of Rebecca Brooke's and was a little hesitant to read Twin Runes since it is unlike any of the other books she's written. I am definitely happy I took the chance on this book and on a different genre than I usually read, because this book was AMAZING!

Twin Runes is about Karalynn and Larsen. Karalynn wakes up in the hospital without her memory, and there is an attractive man there who seems to calm her. Larsen knows exactly who Karalynn is, and keeping the truth from her i

Got an ARC from Net Galley.

Roswell came to mind while I was reading this. I think fans of that would like this book. It is more grown up. Yes there are sex scenes. Look at those eyes? I'm going to go on a limb and say that's Larsen and Kara. I kinda wish they'd match the eyes with the title and the author's name. I know I go on about being up to my eyeballs in series but please tell me there's another book. I was left wanting more. Yay I've found a new author to read.

I thought the cover

I was given this book for my honest review.

A soft purr left her only to be swallowed by me as I slipped my tongue in to caress hers. The kiss wasn’t sweet or sensual, it was driven by need. A need for our bodies to bind together, to connect our souls as one. Larsen

This is the 1st book I have read by this author and the first in this journey.

Karalynn-sweet, amazing, feisty

Larsen-cute, hot and hidden

Jakob-Laresn’s brother

Karalynn and Larsen’s journey is one that will have you amaze

A good starting point for those new to paranormal romance

I'm not a big reader of paranormal, but I'm not entirely green. There are just other genres that I find myself more interested in. But one of my friends suggested this book to me, so I decided to give it a try.

This was an enjoyable, quick read for me. It didn't take too much time to get my bearings. The paranormal aspect of the storyline is pretty basic to grasp, which lends itself well to people that aren't comfortable reading this sort o

What an absolutely amazing way to start off a series!!!!

This honestly has got to be by far one of my favorite paranormal reads out there! The story line was so fast paced and unique that I literally could not get enough and was left desperate for more!

I like to think that I have read my fair share of PNR but Twin Runes was completely fresh and out there and I enjoyed every minute of it. The plot line has been so well though out and kept so original that it was a little mind boggling at times tha

Rebecca Brooke has a way of weaving magic with words! I loved, loved this book! Kara, Larson and Jakob kept me guessing and wondering where this story was going! Paranormal is definitely Rebecca's new breaking ground!!

Brooke knocked this book out of the park. From the get go you are wondering who in the hell is Larsen and what does he mean to Kara. I loved that the author kept us guessing as to who was good and bad until the end.

This was definitely a sci fy book for us adults who still want a little romance in with our mystery. Larsen and Kara were combustable and dynamic. Between Kara learning her new powers and the way Larsen was willing to lose eve
