This is the classic Gingerbread Man book. It tells how the Gingerbread Man runs from everyone he comes into contact with because they all want to eat him! Eventually, he reaches a river that he cannot cross. A sly fix tells him that he will help him across teh river if he hops on his back. So the Gingerbread Man hops on the fox and the fox ends up knocking the Gingerbread Man off his back and....was that the end of the Gingerbread Man? This would be a good book to sue for predicting what will happen next or as a story basket.
