Cougar Hunt

Rate this book
Cougar encroachment into populated areas is rapidly becoming a dangerous problem in the western United States and Canada. The author develops a plausible scenario of what is likely to happen if something is not done soon to remove these cougars from places where people live and play.

A mother cougar, teaching her young how to hunt, is on the edge of starvation. She becomes desperate for food to feed her young. The cougar's quest for prey has driven them out of the forest into the city, following their favorite prey, deer.

Buck Logan is a recently retired Naval Aviator who is a part-time survival instructor at a local university. The northwest town where he and his family live suddenly begins to have a series of problems with wild cougars showing up within the city limits.

Buck takes his sons on a fishing trip, where they have an up close and personal experience with a cougar.
