It wasn't really a page-turner, but interesting nonetheless. I've lived in Arizona for more than 50 yrs, and I didn't know half of this stuff. There was a Civil War battle fought here, a gold and silver rush, and the Rough Riders organized right here before heading to Texas. Wow!

Author gives a good accounting of Arizona history. Great amount of information on the state and counties as well as individuals.

It's a fun read.
Neat stories about the old west. It makes me want to read more of Mr. Trimbles' work. The author makes you feel like you're part of the story.
