Brief Summary
Yohan and Melina Ramsey were in love and very happily married atleast thats what Yohan believed. Until one day he came home and found his wife gone. Now after eight years of being apart the secrets Melina held are about to come out. And there is not much she can do to stop it. The truth about Sera Blacks Murder and her murderer is revealed. And now Melina must confess to Yohan what she saw the night of Sera's death. But its who she saw that has her worried and its also the reason she left Yohan eight years ago. Yohan has had enough he wants his wife back and he wants to know what made her walk out on him.
Before Melina makes her trip back to seattle she is told another secret that shocks her to her core. And this secret will effect Yohan Ramsey for the rest of his life.
Thoughts
The series continues at a good pace and the twist are as cunning as ever. You get to know Yohan And Melina while still getting peeks into the lives of your fave characters in the Ramsey clan. I think Mick is about to get herself in some deep trouble... Anywho i truly enjoyed the book and all the dirty secrets that came out. Moses book is next and i can't wait to get know him better he carries this air of mystery... A mystery you wanna crack open if you know what i mean.
Malina-Came across as strong and independent. After all she did find the courage to stand up to her enemy by coming back and facing Yohan with the truth about his family. I hate that Josephine stuck her with the task of telling Yohan something she herself should have. But Mel was a trooper and she did what she knew was right.
Yohan-Carried his confidence with grace. He possessed that same sex appeal as the other Ramsey men. Whenever him and Mel are together their love burns off the pages. He also had that same possessive male dominance like every other Ramsey man.

Writing Style- Calculated/Cunning and Favorable
Plot/Storyline- Solid, Savory and filled with some crazy twist.

Ms Washington has grown by leaps and bounds as an author, having read 12 of her 14 books (currently reading A Lover's Worth). A Love's Regret has become my favorite book by Ms Washington. The Ramsey family is one of many secrets, lies, and unknowns. Each time you think you have it all figuered out Ms Washington and the Ramsey's throw in another twist.

The Ramsey's Book 4 - Yohan and Melina this is their story.
What happens when you are with the man you love but you can't stand his father who is a dirty b*stard? Who has threatened you and your love ones? So much so that you ran away from your husband or 8 years because you were that afraid.
What happens when you are forced to face your past, correct wrongs, seek forgiveness and then take the chance of the person no longer wanting you after finally coming clean about what happened all those years go.
You take the chance that is what you do and if the man still wants you than great and if he doesn't then you fight until he does want you. The Ramsey Family although powerful are riddled with lies, murder, deception, deadly secrets and destruction. The bad seeds of this family has caused so much pain that it is a wonder that they still exist. There are good people in the family though and they work to keep it intact but just when they think there is a reprieve something else comes to light.
Yohan and Melina had a lot to work through because secrets and lies will destroy even the most rock solid marriage. Melina came back to Seattle to face her nightmare and Yohan was waiting for her in fact he was always waiting for her. The both of them finally coming together was amazing because I didn't know whether or not it would work out for them. Their love for one another was powerful but even when reading I wondered I that was enough, the chemistry between the two was off the charts.
I went through the motions with this story more than the first 3 books which were pretty emotional too but this one had me all over the place. I wanted to scream, fight, cry and laugh. I had bones to pick with people, then a surprise popped back up which I definitely wasn't expecting and it was a good one too.
All in all I would highly recommend this series because it will definitely give you everything you need and keeping you guessing at the same time. Yohan and Melina did get their HEA and Michaela and Quest little girl made her birth debut in this book.

And the Romance & Scandal Continues…
Ms. Washington has crafted an AWESOME series! The Ramsey's and the scandalous secrets surrounding them and their circle of friends is a tale NOT to be missed. While reading the fourth installment many questions are answered. However, it seems just as this family discovers NEW secrets, another scandal or skeleton is just waiting to be uncovered. Once again, the cast of characters, heroes and villains are quite memorable. And if, the HOT & STEAMY reunion between Yohan and Melina doesn’t set the pages of this novel on fire for you, then the SURPRISING twist and turns throughout will definitely keep you turning the pages. So, now that I’m caught up with this very entertaining series, I can hardly wait for Ms. Washington to put out the next novel!

The back story with the family was of course great and so suspenseful, but the love story between Melina and Yohan, I didn't feel like it was a passionate as the previous stories. It could be because they were already together, but something was just missing for me. All the secrets between were just a downer at times and stood in the way of the romance. The rest of the gang was still hot as ever especially the twins and their wives. The Elders were something else as well. The things uncovered from them are really shocking. Can't wait to read more on this saga.

WOW!!! There is so much love,romance,mystery,suspense and drama in this book I could't put it down. It picks up where A Lover's Mask leaves off and AlTonya Washington did not miss a beat. I loved Yohan and Mel's story because you could really feel each of their emotions and you knew the love was there. It was not overly sexual but the passion you could not miss. Loved this Book!!!
