For rabid Lisa Marie Rice fans only. I was kind of bored with the whole plot--burned out government agent tries to see who's behind some dirty dealings in the art world and enlists the aid of a quiet, beautiful antiques appraiser. The two go undercover to bust an art forgery ring, and find love along the way. They have one semi-hot romantic scene together, and the story isn't all that developed. It would be interesting to see if LMR could rewrite this one and develop it more fully and spice it up. She's come a long way since her earlier work, so who knows? If she reworks this one I may check it out. As it stands, I'd give it 3 stars.
A decent Harlequin type read. If LMR could turn Taming Nick into One Fine Specimen, I'd love to see what she could do with a steamy make-over for Joy Forever. I can see the "re-make" with some 'Thomas Crown Affair' touches.
