The Unknown Crystals: The Many Journeys to Different Worlds
The stories take place in all different worlds and planets. They all have different adventures and journeys, searching for the lost unknown crystals and trying to find out what the crystals do and understand what mystic power each crystal has. The first adventure starts in the baby panda story, where he finds his new friend in the first short story, and then they go to find the unknown crystal in the next short story. The next short story takes place in the swamp's bear planet.

Adam created a wonderful story for people of all ages, but especially for children, young and old. With vivid imagery and characters of all types (snowmen, pandas, bears, birds, zombies, etc), the reader learns acceptance of others. It also teaches children ways to make friends and that even though you may look different, act different, and talk different, you can still be friends. This is a great book to teach lessons, but it also takes the reader on an adventure. Plus, who doesn't love doughnuts?!

More of these adventures please!
It was the best decision to have this book as summer reading for my niece. With the diffent adventures, these could be read easily between the various school holiday events which we had planned during vacation. Good illustrations accompany the unique storyline. I highly recommend this book as a gift for any child. A talented author who I hope continues to produce such books for children.

I am always honest in my reviews. I did not like this book. I don’t think that I quite understand it. I liked that it was a compilation of stories surround these Unknown Crystals. I liked that the author used simple language for young readers to read. However, I felt like the writing was also hard to follow. The characters all had similar names, which made some of the stories hard to follow. While the author tried to keep the stories simple, there are times in which they are TOO simple and they don’t make much sense. I am giving this book two stars because I like that it is a compilation of stories and I like that the language is simple enough for a young reader. I would have liked to see more illustrations to help guide the story, and maybe the illustrations would also help pick up where some of the stories leave off. I also would have liked to learn what these Unknown Crystals were. The reader gets to read about these journeys that the characters go on, but nothing happens throughout these journeys, and I felt like I was missing something. The author graciously gifted me a copy of this book. All of the opinions in this review are mine.

This is a sweet children’s book. I can see a lot of kids loving this book and carrying it around with them.
The collection of short stories has overlapping characters and is just the right length for young minds to be captivated by. With characters like Baby Panda, the Snowman and little Zombie -- their adventures are sure to intrigue kids of many ages. The stories grow in length further into the book which may help fidgety kids reign in wandering attention spans.
Colorful illustrations are on each page, so if a parent is reading to really young children, they can see images of the characters. They're all kid friendly.

Just reading a book to a little one tells them you love them. This would be a great little book to read to your young children at bedtime. The Unknown Crystals: The Many Journeys to Different Worlds by Adam Monk-Daschke is filled with creative adventure. I laughed out loud when I read the line about two bears fighting over a doughnut. :) I also loved the part where the father tells his little one he loves him. Every dad should tell his little ones he loves them.
I recommend it to be read out loud and assume the target audience is about 1-5 years old. NOTE: This edition has errors, but a good reader should have no problem reading it to their child.

A fun book that both children and adults will enjoy reading. The book includes an eclectic assortment of enchanting characters who are on a quest for seven magic crystals scattered throughout the universe. It was a nice touch to include zombie characters, a sure fire way to grab the interest of young readers. The illustrations mightily enhance the story.
My favorite line was, “You can pass if you want. But don’t you want to help us bring the legendary doughnut to the temple for unlimited doughnuts?”
That’s one temple that I would definitely like to visit.

I was gifted by the author with a PDF in exchange for a fair review. This is a cute little book designed for young children to read through and experience the magic of imagination. Very child friendly, adults will get a kick out of it, too.
The writing is simple, effective, and sure. There are a few tiny issues with punctuation here and there, but not enough to detract from the overall rating. Some critics have talked about a lack of pictures, but there are enough, and they 'peek' in on the action often enough to give the book a little more flavor.
Worth getting for the young 'uns.

Some wonderful tales for young children who still need you to read to them or who are learning to read for themselves. From learning how to make friends, to learning acceptance of all kinds of beings and lifeforms, the stories impart good messages. The fantasy adventure stories should go over well with the young thrill-seeker in us all.
My one nitpick is I thought the book could have done with another going over to clean up some punctuation errors.

I came across this book because the author offered to do a review swap for my book and I loved the cover of this book (dreadful I know, to judge a book by its cover!) so I said yes.
This book has charming illustrations and original characters and I'd buy it for the children of Goth friends because it features bats and zombies. It's repetitive in the way small children love. I'd like to see these characters in a Christmas story and have asked the author to consider writing one!

The Unknown Crystals is a colourful book of four short stories with the kind of themes that kids love - a snowman who comes to life, zombie characters, swamp bears and little adorable Baby Panda. I liked the themes of friendship, helpfulness and kindness that came across in the stories. There is plenty of action and suspense too and the book is written in storytelling style. The full colour illustrations will make this a great book to share with children. My review is based on a pre-publication manuscript of the story.

Such a wonderful collection of stories. What's great is that there is a storyline which goes on throughout all the individual stories, so it makes it easier for kids to follow along. I loved the illustrations as well, this is a great book and think the author should hurry up and get more books out there.

Baby Panda, Swamp Bear, and Zombies, Oh My. This is a cute children's book with colorful pages. Children tend to have short attention spans which makes this a great book. It's broken down into four short stories. It could use a little editing, but overall, I'd read it to a child for a fun, easy, and different read.

The Unknown Crystals is a compilation of fantasy adventure short stories for children. They are all based around a theme of a crystal which has fractured and ended up in different worlds.
The pages are bright and colorful.

The story is interesting, the language is simple, easy to understand even for non-native speakers of English. My kid aged 7 enjoyed the story but it was hard for him to follow it at times because of the lack of enough pictures for his age.

A colourful, well illustrated book with lots of quirky characters. Each chapter is an imaginary story in itself, with a task to fulfill and plenty of adventure along the way. This is definitely a book parents and children will enjoy reading together.

This is a delightful book for children. I read it to my son at bedtime and he loves it. He wants me to read more about baby panda and the crystals and often wants me to repeat parts because he likes it so much. I even brought him a toy panda!

The Unknown Crystals should be a welcome addition to your children's bedtime collection, each short story is refreshing with a slew of new characters and beautiful art on every page. I highly recommend exploring the many different worlds of the Unknown Crystals!

Created some good fantasies for me. Good for children and young adults. Still believe everyone needs to read it. It teaches a lot of real life lessons most importantly, how to be nice to people. I will recommend it. Nice work.

Gorgeous bedtime stories! Let your little one take journeys to different worlds in this imaginable story book. On the backdrop of beautiful illustrations many adventures are told. A great book for little ones! (I found them entertaining to!)

I loved the bright illustrations in this book. From snowmen to zombies, oh my, this book will capture the imaginations of young children as they follow the characters' quest for the crystals.

Such a cute and imaginative read. Would make a fantastic bedtime story adventure. The characters were sweet and unusual and I believe it would really get a kid's imagination going! Fun!

I recommend this book to any young children. I might get it for my niece and nephew when they get older. Nice illustration and an easy read
