This was a good book about preparing for job interviews. It gave you exercises to do to write out things you want to bring up about yourself, your skills, your accomplishments, things you’ll bring to help the company, etc. It also gave ideas about how to make sure the job is a good fit for you as well as you being a good fit for the job. It would be a book I’d look back at again if I were to be going on an interview for a new job.

I'll be borrowing this book again to prepare for my next interview. This book does a great job preparing you for behavioral based interviews. There are lots of exercises where you demonstrate your ability to perform at your new job based on examples from your past performance using the STAR (Situation/Task, Actions & Results) format. There are also sections & exercises to help you determine if you are a good fit for the job.

This book discusses the STAR method of answering behavioral interview questions. The most innovative aspect is the usage of 4 different actors, each one having different issues. They include a man with job experience but no degree, a mom going back into the workforce, and an engineer with little sales experience. Thus, there's something for everyone.
