Moving into a publishing career, first as a book editor, and finally as a publisher at Angus & Robertson, Rodda's first book was published in 1984.

I read this book because I liked to cover. I really liked the book because it explains that everything doesn't go the way you planned it and that's okay. The book had really good illustrations and the words were really simple, so younger kids would be able to understand this pretty easily.
