No Fair to Tigers is a fictional book about a little girl, Mandy, who is in a wheelchair. She takes her favorite stuffed animal, tiger. Mandy’s tiger is torn and dirty and he lost his tail, Mandy wants to make sure he gets the best treatment while they are fixing him up. Mandy wanted to go to the store to buy tiger a treat but when they get to the store Mandy can’t go in because the store is not wheelchair accessible. The store owner came out and gave tiger a treat but Mandy said thank you, She and tiger would like to come again but next time there should be a ramp so she can come in. This book teaches children that often there are places that people in wheelchairs can’t go because it is not accessible to them. This book can teach children to be aware of what we can do to help others.
