As digital cameras drop in price and the images they produce grow in quality, more and more people are finding the lure too strong to resist. Whether you're an amateur searching for buying advice and digital basics or a design pro looking for new inspiration and the latest technological advances, you'll find Start with a Digital Camera an invaluable resource.
I can't say I really READ this because honestly I just flipped through it once or twice. Very glad it's a library item and not a purchase, because while it's better than no photography book at all, it's not a very good photography book. I found the instructions and descriptions hard to follow and not well thought out. The example photographs were small and not all that useful. Then at page 83 it tries to become a guide to post-production editing, which is also not exactly helpful.
