Love, love, love the pictures! Full of warmth and lost little pleasures which seems to belong to a long long time ago.
Rereading Martine's books is always pleasant - especially this one, which is among the oldest ones - one of the first I got to read when I was really young... Looking at the pictures, one can see it is one of the first, also because the drawings changed though the years and now both the style of clothes and the precision of the drawings is different.
A lovely book for children of all ages!
