Wonderful illustrations: colourful, full of small little treasures amongst the mazes in the book. The best part of the book (in MY opinion) is the little index/glossary at the end which gives a detailed description of each animal featured in each painting. Not just "Iguana eat plants", the author goes into mating habits, parenting, migration and many more amazing facts.

Fantastic book for younger AND older children.
