I love to write and I am passionate to know what drives you to read.
"Her royal elegance washed with a furious flame casting a petrifying dark shadow over the room....Hartman’s chest heaved as she struggled to breathe while horrors invaded her mind, the pain from every life whose death she witnessed flashed before her eyes and every ounce of misery throbbed through her body. Thoughts she never once uttered before began to surface until one word repeated, mistake."- Mythos Junction, Book Three

I rather enjoyed this book, it moved at a pretty fast rate. It begins right where the first book ended, there was not an over abundant of back story latched on but enough to either refresh your memory from the first book or to be able to enjoy and understand the second, without having read the first (although I highly recommend reading book one if you haven’t yet. Justice Trail.)

Nika is transformed into a blood fairy because of an unconditional love promise made by Arrow and in doing so saved her from death. They quickly receive 2 of the “ingredients” for healing the earth from the Queen and set out to find the missing “ingredients”.
It doesn’t take long for them to wind up in danger, and unlike the first books bad guys, the bad guys in this one are really cool or should I say “hot”. They use heat generated from their own body to subdue anyone and they have a temper. They also seem to have the heat thing linked with their emotions so when they get mad things get hot. Which for Josh being a miris (water fairy) is pretty bad, but equally bad for them as water puts fires out.
Some of the new characters in the book are really funny (Garrick and Gabriela), the author still leaves the main characters with the personalities that they had in the first book with the exception that Sky is not the witch she was, it shows her softer side. There is more about the humbunnies and their traits are explored more, as well as Josh (which doesn’t really take crap from no one.)
The ending was interesting, the once hero in the first book is more in “need” than I ever thought he would be, he power is still intact and he uses it to the extent but at the same time he needed more help from the others which brought them and the new characters tighter together.

Outside the story of Reawakening Oath, the author added a little short story Heartbeat, which I found to be a sweet little read of an old woman reminiscing of her youth and her pretend love, not really much to tell about it as it is very short, but worth the read.

This book was just as holding-my-breath-with-excitement book as the first! The characters are awesome and really do take learning-as-they-go to a new level. Some of the secrets the are introduced are fantastic and all in all you must read this series because now I'm dying to read the third book!
Arrow, Nika and everyone else including two new, really awesome characters, Garrick and Gabriela, face off with some powerful new enemies. Another new character, which I will not name because you have to read it for yourself, is really cool I think. He's definitely made is on my top ten or should I say top twenty favorite characters because there are a lot of characters I can compare myself to them and I'm sure you can find someone to compare yourself to, as well. Its cool.
One part in the book I really like is in Chapter 5 because Josh makes a funny comment cutting off Arrow while he is speaking. I laugh every time I read it.
The family trees and the letters from Brina and the micro-story were a nice touch toward the end of the book. I can't wait until the third book comes out!

I love this Author! I don't know how she can create such AMAZING books, this book is better then the first and that's something I just can't believe because the first was BLOODY AMAZING! The Reawakening Oath is beautiful (But I won't go into detail so I don't ruin the book for other readers). The author made spectacular environments that makes you feel the presence of the characters! The Reawakening Oath is definitely one of my favorite books and I so can't wait for the third!!
