Faisal Malick knows how Muslims think, why they act, and what they feel. He was one of them until he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Understanding Ishmael and his descendants is the only way to realize their important role in bringing about peace in the Middle East, the West, the hearts of all humanity. The Destiny of Islam in the Endtime exposes the reality Muhammad, Ishmael's direct descendant, the terrorism mentality, dreams, visions and Muslims. Muslims being the catalyst for Jews and Christians. Your thoughts about Muslims will be shaken to the core when reading this thought-provoking book written by a former Muslim. His knowledge of Islam will widen your perspective and enlarge your heart for all of God s people
You'd think the title would clarify just what this book is and what it's about, but such is not completely the case. While Malick, a former Moslem now Christian, certainly has much to say about the destiny of Moslems in the end times, he says much more which will be of interest, comfort and encouragement to all Christians of all ethnicities.
The author is not very talented. The storyline is hard to follow. He repeats too many subjects. So, the book could have been more comprehensive. The exegesis is poor. Many times he introduces a statement without a sound explanation from the Bible. The use of metaphors is bad and sometimes confusing. I wish I could be more positive. The author certainly has good intentions. Part of the book is based on a prophecy. And I really hope the future is going to happen the way he describes it.
(This review is dedicated to Alexandra Hart who loaned me this lovely book.)
It was great. It was insightful. It is one of the few books I've read about Islam that is truly hopefully and prophetically charged. It's a harbinger of the momentum in the Spirit for the Muslim world to fall madly in love with Jesus. That spiritual momentum is manifesting physically and it will increase infinitely. I am very excited to have a front row seat as the Middle East gets ready for the wedding to end all weddings. haha!
here's a soundtrack to put invitations in envelopes by: Imagine it being sung to the Muslim World. heehee!
The author has an interesting perspective as he is a former Muslim who converted to Christianity. There are some good points and information within the book that I didn't know about Islam and what Muslims believe, but the book is over 200 pages long and he could have easily fit everything of substance into about 15-20 pages. Much of the book feels like "filler" with little to no substance and he repeats himself multiple times.
This book is so prophetic and insightful - reading books such as this helps one to get a heavenly perspective on issues that effect our world. I am not interested in the perspective of news media. My desire is to see the larger picture and understand what God is doing. Well worth the read, you begin to understand how God will fulfill his promise to Abraham concerning Ishmael.
