When Sawyer Reed wants something, he gets it.
And I WANT her.
She doesn’t know it yet, but she’s already mine.
Her resistance is futile because once I start a play, I always follow through. And I ALWAYS win.
Nothing, not even the deep-seated hate I have for my rival, Jacob Byrd, is going to keep me from my endgame.
And my endgame is Gretchen Cole.
But I have to keep my hea

I've read 2x books by this author and both of them I loved so I can't wait to see what she brings me in this book, the synopsis had me hooked but that cover definitely reeled me in!!

★★★ 3 Stars ★★★

Honestly I don't know where to start with this one, and I can without a doubt say that Sacked will push a lot of people's hard limits.

Sawyer Reed is our resident manwhore, and star quarterback of Camden University. He is arrogant with a capital A, completely narcissistic and does not really care about the women he leaves in his trail. He is cocky and entitled, and because of all these traits, I was hoping to fall head over heels for him in a big way, because these guys usually ha
I was going to rate this book 3 Stars but then as I talked to some friends about it and ranted about the Hero I realized there is no way I could rate this book that high. Sawyer Reed ruined this book and for that reason alone I just can't give a higher rating than 2 stars to a book I had this many issues with.

So the story is about Sawyer Reed who is a freshman in college and thinks that he's the god's gift to women. When he see's Gretchen though and all she does is make funny faces at him in cl

I have to say that that when I first saw the blurb of this story that I was very intrigued. We have a hotshot football player and a girl who can care less about his rep or stats.

Sawyer Reed is an egotistical cocky famous football player at Camden University. Whatever he wants,he gets and he has no shame in the process. Being a freshman, you would think that he would've been a little more coy and try to start off on the right foot but noooo that man has two things on his mind and i

A cocky egotistical manwhore. These are a few words to describe Sawyer Reed, star quarterback of Camden University. Sawyer knows he is the man of the campus. The guy that every college girl wants. The door of revolving girls is an endless cycle. His ego alone is as big as a football stadium. So if Sawyer can get any girl he wants, why does the elusive Gretchen Cole wants nothing to do with him. Well, the answer is that she knows Sawyer Reed

4.5 Sack Me Sawyer Stars!

I admit, I am totally surprised by the outcome of this read! I liked it...a lot!

I started this book with a lot of reservations. While I like a good "bad boy," I do not like a boy whose swagger is not only big, but kinda dirty! Sawyer is the BMOC. He is a football god and along with is craft comes his skill in the sack. His reputation is horrid and rightly so. It was completely unknown to me why a pretty southern looker with a good head on her shoulders would even make ey

Phew!!!! This bad boy made me sweat. Sawyer has to be the most arrogant hero I've read in a while and I wanted to smack him with his own stick!!!!!
Ahem, but first things first. I completely enjoyed this book. I was utterly entertained by Sawyer and Gretchen.
Sawyer is your typical jock. He is the famous quarterback and a complete womanizer. He has every girl. No commitment. No future. He just wants to have fun. Until he notices a girl he has never looked at before.

I forced myself to keep reading this but I couldn't take it anymore. The H in this story is a complete douchebag. He is a huge manwhore and extremely arrogant. Any type of argument or misunderstanding with the h resulted in this guy trying to sleep with or find release with another woman. He was so immature and I was completely disgusted with him. There was no possessiveness or jealousy which is the reason I read this book. The h was another airhead that frustrated me. She wasn't all t

I’ve been SACKED by Sawyer Reed! I believe Tabatha Vargo has some of the best opening lines of anyone I’ve ever read! In this case—she’s flipped me on my lid with her ending! Oh, Tabatha, my love, what are you doing to me? I was for sure I would never love Sawyer Reed like I love some of your other men but alas, he has turned me on my head and I’ve fallen head over heels!

Sawyer is the classic college-football-playing, cocky, Mr. Everything! You know the type that all the girls want, but is unob

Well, damn, this book surprised me in the end.

I didn't really know what to expect from it, I mean knowing the kind of books Tabatha writes, I thought at least it would be a little bit of a messed up! LOL

BUT this was actually a new adult drama about growing up, accepting your responsibilities and mostly making the right decisions even when they seem wrong.

it's about falling in love, truly falling in love and finding the right reasons to do it after you recognize them first

In hindsight, I should have stopped reading this book after the first chapter. Maybe even during the first chapter. The ‘Hero’, Sawyer, opened the story and made a terrible first impression – something which never really improved. But he wasn’t the only negative...

I’d call this book an anti-feel good ‘love story’ – and I use that term loosely. You see, I tend to take on board the feelings the heroine is going through, whilst I read. In this case, that meant I felt a lot of hurt, a lot

5 Sacked Stars!!

I devoured this one! I couldn't stop reading once I started that first page. I didn't know what to expect when I read the title and blurb, because a book was released prior to this one with the same title, and similar blurb. But once I started reading, it was CLEAR that these were two totally different books.

Sawyer plays football, and he plays well. So well he knows he's going somewhere and it isn't hard to find girls. But he's on a strike out streak with the ladies. Between prac

Review by Tabatha Vargo

There is nothing I like better than a man whore who becomes reformed only to revert back to his old ways when things get too personal or too hard for him to handle. Spoon feed it to me, slip it through a straw, or make me chew it up but give me that taste one can only get from an angsty read.

“You thought you were something special to me? You thought a few f*cks and I was falling for you? Newsflash, I was nice to you because I wanted to f*ck you. I kept being nice because

Okay, here is my problem with this book. Sawyer is the biggest douche ever. He's a dick. Asshole. And a long list of other adjectives which I should probably leave out. Now let me say this, it bothered me that at the beginning I liked him. I know, sweet spot for the bad boy, right? But no, that's not what it was. It's just refreshing to have a hero who is a grade A dick instead of a starting QB who is girlier than I am. He had some very brief shining moments during the story, but unfortunately t ...more

I'm a little on the fence about this one, don't get me wrong I really enjoyed it but there was just something about it that I just didn't feel. Though I loved Sawyer from the off it took me a while to get into the story.

Sawyer is quite the character and I loved his dirty randy mind, the author really got into her teenage boy state of mind for Sawyer, the things this character came out with had me chuckling and wanting to smack him round the head at the same time. He is a walking ego and being th

Ready to get sacked!?

This is only the second book I've read by Tabatha Vargo. She's one of my favorites now. No doubt. She caught me with Slammer and she's kept me with Sacked. I'm hooked on her game. This was another 5 star read. Just enough angst to make my heart break and more than enough heat to scorch my panties right off. Makes me want to go back and do college all over again with my own Sawyer Reed. He is hotness wrapped up in football pants and pads. Gretchen is so sweet she will make yo

This book came as a huge surprise for me! I LOVE sports books and anything football even though I know nothing about football in real life. Well Sawyer was right up my alley. Huge manwhore, big a$$hole, and a phenomenal football player. He meets Gretchen and she's his game changer. With tons of heat, a bit of angst and just an all around great story, Tabatha really did a fantastic job with this one. Really enjoyed this one!!!

Sawyer is one cocky man, “yes, you are,” I freely admitted. “Barbie ain’t got ***t on you, baby.” I loved seeing the whipped Sawyer, "I looked over with a grin as I slid my feet into my sneakers. “Jim’s. My girl wants wings. My girl gets wings.” I loved this book, there were times I wanted to hurt Sawyer but he knew how to redeem himself.

Guess who can't resist a story about a football playing hero or a bad boy? That'd be me. Put those two things together and the book with those features immediately moves to the top of my reading list. I was so eager to read Sacked I was almost bouncing with excitement and was able to rationalize staying up until the wee hours of the morning reading it.

Sawyer Reed is a douche bag. He knows he's talented both on and off the field and can have what he wants. Of course he's gotten bored with that an

It's rare that I really dislike a character from the start but that's what happened me while reading this. I love a cocky bad boy but Sawyer took that to a new level.

I've got to admit Sawyer grew on me as I kept reading but something just didn't click with me.

I really liked Gretchen. She was a strong feisty character. She was holding a grudge with Sawyer and wanted revenge.

I found this to be a steamy read with enough angst to keep me gripped. Gotta say I loved the epilogue.

Let me tell you, Gretchen, you are pathetic for being such a judgemental bitch!

Gretchen and Sawyers story.

She is a girl on a mission. To get close to Sawyer but not fall for his charms. This should be easy as she doesn't find him all that attractive and his ego is huge. He doesn't do relationships but when he sees her, he wants her. There is more at stake than a quick jump in the sack though. Can she help him see there is more to life than what he thought?

I actually quite liked this book. Yes it's cliche. Yes the leading man can be a bit of a douche and petulant but she al

I didn’t know what to expect with Sacked. The cover is HAWT and I know Ms. Vargo writes some sexy ass scenes that get you hot and bothered. I’m a huge fan of sport romance novels so I gave this a try since I’ve loved Ms. Vargo’s other books I’ve read so far. Move over Sebastian, Sawyer is in the house and he’s got me swooning over him! EEEP! I love a freaking football book and the cover for this book is magnificent and hot as all get out! Love it and I was too excited so I dove right into this one right away. This book ticked a lot of my boxes and here is why. There is football. There is a sexy egotistical hero. There is a spunky take no bull crap girl. There is angst. There is a bit of a mystery at the beginning. Add all of that to the fact that this book is hot as sin and totally hilarious and you have the recipe for an exce ...more

What a wonderful story!

It is so much about young love, college age, friendship, and heartbreak.

The funny wit in this story was just out there and I was like… wow… how does someone come up with that stuff? Well, Tabatha Vargo did, and she did it well. Trust me… once you read the first line in the book you will know exactly what I am talking about.

Sawyer is one cocky arrogant man-whore that’s for sure! It took me quite a bit in this book before I actually liked Sawyer. He is bossy and always gets what he wants and his ego is HUGE!! The first half of the book Sawyer made me so mad! Yes Gretchen is a little spitfire but also Sawyer is use to girls lying down at his feet and Gretchen does not.

Gretchen isn’t going to fall for Sawyer’s tricks. She has a plan and she knows what she needs to do in order to make those plans come together. But o

This is the first book by Tabatha Vargo that i've read and it wont be the last! The story is so full of emotions that it make me laugh cry and scream out loud all at once. I loved the idea behind the story of bringing two old friends back together before it's too late for it to ever happen.
