After the Batmobile goes missing, Batman doesn't have to look very far to find the culprit. Alongside his friends, Superman, Wonder Woman, and others, they look for the Joker everywhere before trapping him in his lair and getting back the stolen vehicle. The book has been designed with six sturdy tabs on the right-hand side of the pages as well as several flaps to lift and reveal text and images, and a big foldout page as the action culminates and the Joker gets his just desserts! Nah! Nah! Nah! Nah! Nah! Nah! Nah! Nah! Nah! Nah! Batman! Batman! Batman! Fans of the series and Bruce Wayne's alter ego will enjoy this outing even if the story itself is very short.

DC Super Friends: The Missing Batmobile, BOARD BOOK. DC Comics, 2016. $10.99.

Batman enlists his Super Friends to find his missing batmobile, that The Joker has stolen. Superman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman, and Wonder Woman, and a few more, all turn up to help solve the crime. Each superhero faces special foes and they all work together to bring The Joker down. This tabbed board book, has a superhero on each tab. There are flaps that open up to different enemies or other superheroes as they search for The Joker. The last page is a full spread of all the superheroes together at The Joker’s Laff Factory, yet he’s nowhere to be seen. In fact, The Joker isn’t illustrated anywhere in the book. I thought it was really odd to not include him, when he is the main villain everyone is fighting against. I was a little disappointed that Wonder Woman didn’t or any other female characters didn’t get more visibility. The whole book is disjointed, but I think the point of the book is to see a lot of superhero characters together, rather than a real story. It is unimpressive.
