Cassie and Cambridge are my absolute jam !! What a freaking couple 😍😍! Cassie’s stepfather is an absolute menace to society and he thinks that the peace ✌️ treaty is not worth it !!

Cambridge is grouching that his team in the BPI, Bureau of Paranormal Investigation is already late for their meeting in town with their human counterparts. They were already in their second month of talks. As each day got closer to Christmas Mimi's antics just got a bit wilder. She must have shipped a semi truck's worth of Christmas decorations from their home base of Chicago.
Cambridge and Finn are Vampires, Baldwin a bear shifter, and Mimi a Fae that floated between groups. Mimi's best friend is Dani, also a Fae Magik, mated to Cambridge's brother Cornell. Both Dani and Mimi are slayers, now known as enforcers. Finn said that he is waiting for the memo stating that vampires will be known as 'living challenged' and shifters as uninhibited. Mimi has been diligently working on the guys, especially Finn to wear one of her knitted sweaters. The fact that the arms are not the same length is no deterrent.
In central Columbus, Ohio, Cassie McGowan is frantic to find some way to prevent carnage from several bombs, placed in strategic locations in the meeting hall by her step-father and his minions of racial 'purists'. Meanwhile his men are inciting large crowds in front of the meeting hall. Going in the front entrance will get her noticed and will not work in any case. She decides to look for a side or back door to hurry the council outside to safety. Cassie heads down a narrow and dark side alley. She runs into a tall wall of solid muscle, Cambridge Sutton.
It takes a bit of fast talking but she convinces him to get everyone out. Just as they are seen leaving, the first bomb is exploded. Cassie automatically uses her Fae Magik of FIRE to incinerate the bomb. Soon, her step-father spies her and explodes a much bigger bomb. Once again, Cassie uses her Fae Magik of FIRE. But this one takes so much out of her that she thinks that she incinerated herself as well, and passes out.
This is a delightful little gem, that basically sticks to the two main characters, Cambridge and Cassie. Of course there are some sexy scenes, a little mystery, a surprise, and the prerequisite HEA. Mandy M. Roth could easily take this story and lengthen it or make it into a series. Lots of great ideas chocked into here. FIVE STARS from ME!

Heated Holiday by Mandy M Roth
I must say I'm extremely biased and love all things Mandy Roth. This book was no exception. Packed full of humor, heat, action, and the paranormal, I was satisfied on so many levels. This was the first book I've read in this series and I will definitely be reading more. I fell in love with the world she created and can't wait to read more of these characters.

This is A great series of books for the holidays. The review I am doing is for heated
holidays by Mandy Roth. In this book we meet Cassie the step daughter of the leader of the human purist group. She is on A mission to find a liter of the paranormal to tell them that her stepfather from the building and turn them all into a pile of goop. Pushes her way through the crowd of protesters to a dark alley where she finds herself face-to-face with one of the leaders of the vampires.
Cambridge go to the alley finds himself face-to-face is a protester she warns him about a bomb in the building. This is where their journey really starts, after the bomb goes off it all goes downhill from there will these two with their big differences be able to find true love.
With the story Mandy has really done it again I just love her holiday stories they really put you in the right move it for the winter season if you were looking for a great series of books look no further.

Another short but with more story than the first. I liked it better than the first. They are on travel to a supernatural convention. She is a step-daughter that is a paranormal hate monger that has bad plans that she wants to stop but has to find someone in charge and no one she talks to on the phone believes her. She goes to the meeting. Mimi is still pushing the holiday spirit and decorating and making holiday food and sweaters but not well.
Once the two meeting it is a love at first sight, lust and sex to matehood. The ending epilogue was also better than the last. Still this is very short and the characters are not very fleshed out because the shortness. It was fun and an easy read. I wouldn’t read it again but it was a good short. 3 1/2 bumped up as the storyline was better especially before the mating part.

It made me laugh and I absolutely loved this short holiday paranormal romance. Mandy Roth does it again.
I love Mandy Roth's books, and 'Heated Holiday', the third book in her Bureau of Paranormal Investigation series of short paranormal romances was funny and kept me reading it from beginning to end. I absolutely loved it.
Lonely Vampire Cambridge Sutton is getting a serious headache. He's sick and tired of listening to Rocking Around the Christmas Tree on a continuous loop (one of my all time favourites), Mimi, the preternatural magik, trying to force Finn into Christmas jumpers and Columbus, Ohio. Sent here by his brother Connell as what he sees as some kind of punishment, his team from the Bureau of Paranormal Investigation are supposed to oversee the peace talks between the local humans and supernaturals, but they've been going on for two months. They're already late for the next meeting and he's not a happy bunny, but when a compulsion drives him to go to an alley outside, he's crashed into by a woman who has an amazing effect on him. He's found her, his Mate, and suddenly Columbus doesn't seem so bad, until he registers what's she telling him and the bomber appears...
Brought up in fear by her Purist step-father, the supernatural hating and evil Albert, half fae Cassie McGowan has stumbled on his sick plan to blow up everyone at the peace talks and blame it on the supernaturals. Driven by the need to save everyone, she's desperately trying to find a way to alert someone when she crashes into a muscle mountain in an alley. Determining he's a supernatural she's trying to get him to evacuate the building, but has to wonder about his ability to understand her when at first he doesn't move or say anything. But then he reacts with lightning speed just as her step-father's henchman appears in a vest covered in explosives. It's a good thing she's an Elemental Fae whose element is fire....
I'm not going to give any more spoilers. This wonderful short story is written with humour, steam, bad guys, action, and a happily ever after. It made me laugh, I absolutely love it and I'm already looking forward to the next one in this series.

Heated Holiday is the second book, in what seems may become a series, about the Bureau of Paranormal Investigations. In this world of things that go bump in the night, the supernatural have essentially "come out" to humans some years ago. In doing so, chaos and fear are perpetuated. In hopes of having supernaturals and humans live and work in harmony, and to police rogues of either species, the Bureau of Paranormal Investigations was formed. As tensions between the two groups heat up, there are those that would stop at nothing to incite a war.
This is where Cambridge Sutton comes in. He works for the bureau and is a centuries old, somewhat stick in the mud vampire, sent to facilitate peace talks between supernaturals and humans. He is tasked with keeping everyone safe while ensuring the talks continue despite escalating hostilities from protestors. Cambridge resents the fact that he was chosen for this duty, would rather it be one of his brothers, but understands its importance. When a stranger warns him that everyone participating in the talks is in eminent danger things really heat up. This will be one Christmas not easily forgotten.
Cassie McGowan has lived most of her life in fear of her stepfather. His human purist beliefs border on insane, he supports extermination of all supernaturals and he really is evil. Normally she keeps her head down and tries to avoid him but when she stumbles across a sinister plot he intends to carry out she knows she has to act. Even if it means risking her own life. When she comes face to face with the extraordinarily sexy vampire who works for the BPI, she knows she has to warn him. If she can stop drooling long enough to speak.
This was a great novella. It was short but action packed. It also did a bit more world building than the first book. Cambridge is a lot like his brother Cornell (from the first book), a stickler for the rules, surrounded by blonde beauties (yes he has a type) and not looking for anything serious. Cassie is young but she's brave and has no intention of being anyone's fool. They were pretty "hot" together. Mimi and Finn from the first book are back. They are still at odds and their antics are laugh out loud funny. We also meet Baldwin, a growly bear shifter who enjoys ribbing Finn as well. And we learn a tad bit about how Cornell and Dani are doing. All in all a very entertaining read. I hope these do become a series as I would love to read about the rest of the Sutton brothers. And there has to be a story for Mimi and Finn in there somewhere.

Another Great Holiday Classic!!

Just în time for the holidays, another great Bureau of Paranormal Investigation story from Mandy M. Roth. I thoroughly enjoyed last year's "Hunted Holiday" and her latest entry did not disappoint. We get to revisit the BPI gang Mimi, Baldwin, and Finn along with their usual antics, only this time our story centers around Cambridge Sutton and Cassie McGowan.
Cambridge is a vampire, who is in charge of our team this time around. Their job is to attend and oversee the upcoming negotiations between the supernaturals and the humans. Cassie McGowan is the stepdaughter of Albert McGowan who is a fanatical human purist and bent on wiping out all supernaturals.
Cassie is only half human and has been hiding her magic from her stepfather, or so she thought. Albert McGowen is a fanatical human purist who is bent on destroying all supernaturals and when Cassie inadvertently stumbles upon his plot to set off bombs at the peace negotiations, she decides to take action.
Due to the overwhelming crowds of protestors Cassie is unable to make her way through, but eventually manages to get to a side alley where she runs into none other than Cambridge. He is immediately fascinated with Cassie because his ability to read people doesn't work on her. Cassie tells Cambridge of the bombs set to go off in the area, but he fails to heed her warnings. Desperate to save lives, Cassie uses her magic on Cambridge in a last ditch effort to get him to listen. But unfortunately, Cassie was followed and at the last moment, one of the bombs go off. After that, all hell breaks loose!!
This is really where our story begins between Cambridge and Cassie, vampire and half human. Who followed Cassie? Why can't Cambridge read her? If Albert McGowan knew about Cassie's power, why didn't he let on? And finally, will the personal differences and political intrigue keep the couple from fulfilling their destiny? Another great holiday classic from Ms. Roth which I highly recommend along with several others included in this anthology. I can't wait to see what the other members of the BPI gang will be up to in 2016!! I sooo hope Finn's story will be next.

As always Mandy delivers another awesome hot alpha with a heated sassy mate.
Cassie McGowan is the step-adopted daughter of purist Albert McGowan. Cassie is also half human and has had to hide her magik from her step father. He knows she is not human, but not exactly what she is. Cassie unwittingly uncovers his plan to set off bombs around where the peace negotiations are being held between the humans and the supernaturals. When Cassie is unable to find her way through the protesters and ends up getting shoved around amongst them, she stumbles into an area of the darkened parking which leads to a side alley. Just as Cassie is checking that none of the protesters have followed, she runs head on into a solid wall of muscle, Cambridge Sutton.
Cambridge Sutton is one of the heads of the Paranormal Bureau of Investigation, a member of one of the ruling vampire families and considered a master vampire. Cameron is shocked when he can not read Cassie and becomes intrigued. When Cambridge does not immediately respond to Cassie's warning of bombs in the area, Cassie uses her uncontrolled magik to get his attention. In a flash Cambridge gets the other agents and helps evacuate people from the building. But one of Cassie's step father's followers discovers what she has done and sets off a suicide bomb. Cambridge rushes to Cassie and takes the brunt of the blast. Cassie is badly hurt and hears that Cambridge is also hurt from shrapnel. Cambridge is still unable to read Cassie, but he can sense her worry for him, which only works when someone is your mate. Cambridge tells Cassie to draw upon her magik to help heal herself. Just as another bomb goes off Cassie's power flares.

Cambridge Sutton is one of the heads of the Paranormal Bureau of Investigation, a member of one of the ruling vampire families and considered a master vampire. Cameron is shocked when he can not read Cassie and becomes intrigued. When Cambridge does not immediately respond to Cassie's warning of bombs in the area, Cassie uses her uncontrolled magik to get his attention. In a flash Cambridge gets the other agents and helps evacuate people from the building. But one of Cassie's step father's followers discovers what she has done and sets off a suicide bomb. Cambridge rushes to Cassie and takes the brunt of the blast. Cassie is badly hurt and hears that Cambridge is also hurt from shrapnel. Cambridge is still unable to read Cassie, but he can sense her worry for him, which only works when someone is your mate. Cambridge tells Cassie to draw upon her magik to help heal herself. Just as another bomb goes off Cassie's power flares.

Mandy has done it again with super hot short story!
This is the second in this series and an amazing novella.
Along for the ride with new characters we get to meet back up with Finn and Mimi again.
Cambridge Sutton is one of the heads of the B.P.I (Bureau of Paranormal Investigation), Is something of a pillar in the paranormal community, billionaire and a member of one of the ruling vampire families. He and his team find themselves in their second month of peace negotiations with other paranormal heads and the humans in Ohio. But while in one of the meetings Cambridge feels compelled to leave for some reason unknown and heads out to the back of the building.
Cassie McGowan is a half magik but what she is, she doesn't know, plus she's had to hide her supernatural half to everyone because Cassie's step father is non other than the purist Albert McGowan, who wants rid of all things supernatural.
But somehow Cassie has managed to put two and two together when she comes across blueprints and explosives plans. Knowing her evil step father is going to blow up the building with the peace talks, she decides she has to do something, she has to warn someone, anyone who will listen and then get out of dodge before one of Alberts followers see her.
After stepping out of the back door someone bumps into Cambridge and as he turns to face Cassie it's instant heated attraction between the two.
After being able to give the warning to save as many and having to use her magik to protect those around her, Cassie wakes up in a strange bed with a deep sexy voice speaking to her. And the heat in the room has nothing to do with the after effects of the explosion.
This can be read as a stand alone as there is no cliffhanger, but I would advise to read Hunted Holiday first.
This is a super hot romance with plenty of humour, explosions of two kinds, and sexual content. I would really love to see Mimi and Finn have their story as there's something definitely there with them two. lol.
Thoroughly enjoyed and recommend you read this.

After hearing her warning about the bomb, Cambridge and team just barely get the building evacuated before it goes off. During the explosion everyone in the alley learn that Cassie is more than human as she shields Cambridge and herself from most of the blast.
Cambridge and his team take Cassie back to the place they are staying at where they find out about her connection to the purist leader and she learns more about the magic inside of her. The two are unable to resist the intense draw to each other and Cambridge claims Cassie as his mate.
This was a quick, steamy little read. My only complaint is that it was a little too short, Cassie and Cambridge's relationship seemed a bit rushed, but when you have a fated mates storyline, that's to be expected. So no harm, no foul, it worked. I just really enjoyed their characters and would have loved to read more about them. The supporting characters were hilarious and I would love to see a story about Mimi and Finn someday! *hint hint* :)

Another gem in the BPI series!
Cambridge is in a strop. He and his team are in Ohio of all places to meet with their human counterparts over a recent increase in anti-shifter protests. Time is dragging on and he's going to crack if he has to put up with more of Mimi's Christmas Mafia moves. Who has a truckload of Christmas ornaments!!! He's a fearless vampire but he'd gladly walk into the sum to get away from those awful Christmas jumpers she's trying to get everyone to wear!
Cambridge is also about ready to bust a gut over Finns denial of the chemistry between him and Mimi, the man is dense if he thinks it's not obvious he has a thing for the ditsy fae! She may be a slayer but she may just be certifiable.
Cassie is a shifter in hiding. Her loathsome stepdad is leader of the anti-shifter movement and it's not going to go down well if that little nugget gets out. When she overhears his plans to bomb the meetings Cam and the gang are attending she plans to attend and help them escape.
She literally walks into Cam and just as she passes on the warning the bombs go off. Some of the team are a bit wary of her due to her family connections. But she's taken away with the team and her family history is slowly unravelled. Her Fae Magik of FIRE helped save the team but what exactly is she?
This is a great little story and with any Mandy Roth story there is snark, humour and much bedroom naughtiness to steam your kindle!! I dare you not to snort with laughter at the family feel and hijinks of the team. Can't wait for another in this series!!

Cambridge is a high ranking vampire working with BPI (Bureau of Paranormal Investigation) in negotiating peace between human protesters and supernaturals. With his team, he travels to Ohio to attend a peace summit.
At a young age, Cassie's mother married what they thought was a very nice man. Her stepfather turned out to be an evil psycho, and a member of a hate group that killed supernaturals. When he found out Cassie was Fae, he threatened to kill her mother if she didn't hide her powers. He didn't want the world to know his stepdaughter was a supernatural.
Cassie discovers her stepfather's plot to set off bombs at the peace summit. She knows by warning the supernaturals she's putting herself in danger, but she can't watch innocent people die. Cassie sees a vampire she recognized from the media. She warns him about the bombs just in time to evacuate the building. After clearing the building, Cambridge returns to the beautiful red head he knows is his mate just in time to save her from a suicide bomber.
I normally only give four stars for short stories, unless they are really really good. Well, this one rated a five. It's that good. I love the funny ribbing between the team members. Mimi and Finn are too funny. Hopefully we'll read their story soon ;)
Oh, and one last thing. As a removed Buckeye, we "DO NOT" cause indigestion when used as a vampire snack.........just saying ;)

She is the step daughter to Albert McGowan; who is a purist and plans to kill many supernatural people and humans in order to stop negotiations.
Cassie finds out about his plans and does everything she can to stop it. Unfortunately, due to the amount of protesters she thinks she will be too late. At the same time Cambridge has an inexplicable need to go outside. As soon as he does he meets Cassie. They are instantly attracted to each other. She has time to warn him about the bombs and for him to get others to safety before the bombs go off. However, one of her step-dads followers finds her and tries to kill her by detonating the bombs he tied to himself.
This is an amazing story. It has love, drama and intrigue. Will you find out who Cassie's biological father is? Can they save each other from her step-father's nefarious plots? I could not put it down and recommend it as a must read.

Heated Holiday by Mandy M. Roth is another fav of mine. Falling in love has been finer when you fall in love in Columbus Ohio?! ;-) This is another great side story from the Bureau of Paranormal Investigation series world. Cambridge Sutton is the brother to Cornell. Cornell is newly mated to Dani their story is hot, sexy and downright wonderful in Hunted Holiday: A Vampire Romance (Bureau of Paranormal Investigation Book 1) . Cambridge is in a safe house with Mimi, Finn and Baldwin. Mimi is the resident Supernatural that goes all out for a holiday, especially Christmas. Finn is her personal “dress up Ken doll’; ugly sweaters and all. News is that there is a rouge group of humans lead by Albert McGowan that despises Supernatural and is on the bandwagon to rid the earth. His assumed daughter Cassie is out to help save lives, ALL lives. Little did Cassie know that bumping into Cambridge would be the end of her running and the start of her new live with her Fated Mate! This is a great story and Mandy does a phenomenal job of continuing the stories. I cannot wait to see if Mimi and Finn get together and finally admit to their feelings. How much hot chocolate will Finn have to endure?

Mandy M. Roth - Heated Holiday: Bureau of Paranormal Investigation—Great holiday novella about a woman named Cassie McGowan who rushed to where the supernaturals and humans are negotiating. Reason she rushes down is because her step father plans to kil all the supernaturals by blowing them up. She gets there and has a hard time getting thru the protestors but suddenly HE is there- Cambridge Sutton—he is a vampire with the Bureau of Paranormal Investigation and helping out with the peace talks. Cassie’s step father is causing all sorts of issues but Cambridge finds he is drawn to this young lady…there are twists and turns , especially when the all is found out about who her real father is. There is passion, action, some mystery and alittle suspense. The chemistry between the MC is off the charts and I definitely recommend this book.

This was a cute little holiday book. Mimi makes both of the books funny she keeps everyone laughing her and Finn. so both of them were pretty good in this one cassie goes to save the life of the paranormal unit before her evil stepfather blows up the building that everybody's in. Falls in love with the head of the unit Cambridge and live happily ever after doesn't all books live happily ever after LOL the only thing I hate about these two books was there very.

The young woman steps in to thwart a bombing and she winds up saving everyone. Turns out Fate had a hand in both sending this exact team and putting her exactly where she needed to be. These first two books were a great start to the series, hope the author finds time to continue.

DNF. I had hoped that the author would have matured a bit in between the first and second book in this little series. In fact, I got 1/3 through the book and thought that she did get better. Until I came on this dialog between the two MCs:
“Dude, when you got turned, did it leave you brain damaged?” she asked, before thinking better of it. He was considered a master vampire, a guy one didn’t mess with lightly. He quirked a brow. “Dude?” “Do you want to become vamp goop? That would suck, buddy. Plus, I’m too young to die, so can you tap into that vamp speed I know you all have and go pull a fire alarm or something?” “Vamp goop?” he echoed. Yep, his siring must have left him brain damaged. “I have information about a bomb threat. It is very credible. Trust me. There is a bomb. Maybe more than one even. The people behind this do not play around.” Goop was mentioned later in the book by another character, obviously a favorite word of the author. The name of the series, Bureau of Paranormal Investigation hints that there could be cases to be solved, but NOPE, that’s just a background possibility. I ended up not finishing because the bad writing kept tripping me up.
