This was a fast read. Interesting characters. Didn't understand why Westin was so conservative with her opinion considering her age, would have liked a bit more backstory explaining that. Loved Smythe's antics, she felt real. Dash was new. The gay character is becoming more popular, but to see a committed one is fresh.

Together they balance each other. Add in some very oddball characters, a hunky police detective, & a murder & you have a thoroughly enjoyable read! I especially liked little pretentious Juliette-Margot. It may be an easy mystery but I enjoyed it & am looking forward to reading the second installment. ...more
