Page-turning, political, clockpunk, quick reads with lots of crazy ideas and insane worldbuilding. Highly enjoyable.
The structure of these books are really interesting as the protagonists are never the ones driving the political storms forward, they are trying to ride it out as best the can. I do really enjoy them but it makes it very different from the mostly american books I am used to.
There are some amazing ideas both for devices and for worldbuilding in this series and they are really enjoy
