Lucy Lakestone is a true artist --a painter! The way she is able to spread color and imagery though her stories is so vivid and descriptive it takes you right there as a fly on the wall, watching the entire tale unfold. Cali and Wyatt are both young lost souls trying to find their way in the world and in love. Wyatt has had a rough past and childhood and Cali has tossed up mile-high walls around her heart due to an endless stream of crappy boyfriends. But their connection and chemistry are instant and so believable you can't help but get swept up in their whirlwind and feel as though you are a part of it all too. The sex is hot, the romance is beautiful and this book had me grinning and gushing and rooting for the H/h the whole way through. I can't wait to read the entire series!

Love this author! Her characters are sassy and quirky and relatable, and the situations her hero and heroine find themselves in is always unique and full of spice. That happily ever after for a now is hard earned, but I'll gladly pay the price every single time!
