I read part 3 on patchwork. I loved seeing how cultures outside the United States have a patchwork style and technique.
This book is big and i can only read it when the cat is not on my lap, so will have to get it again from the library.

Terrible editing for a book with so many pictures. Unclear captions and repetitive entries while some information was as vague as it was useless. Lovely pictures though. Too much focus on certain cultures, but almost nothing to nothing about others.

Not a how-to, but a "why?". Beautiful collection of quilted and embroidered items from around the world using a broad selection of fibers and techniques. Good for inspiration and anyone who wants a better understanding of the history and dedication that goes into these elaborate creations.
