Betrayed. Luna Gregory has been betrayed by both her long-time mentor and the love of her life. But though she tries to put the past behind her, she can't escape memories ...more

Not a standalone.

Kait Jagger turns up the heat in Her Master’s Servant in a scorching, almost too-hot-to-touch way. Luna Gregory and Stefan Lundgren found the love of a lifetime in Lord and Master, book one in this series, and then betrayal tore them apart, leaving them (and readers) brokenhearted. In the two months since they last saw each other the heartache has only grown.
Kait Jagger is one of the best authors that not enough people are reading. She handles romantic suspense and erotica with ease, laying out

I think if I wasn't reading this because I said I would, I wouldn't go on with this series.

This one started out so good I couldn't put it down. Then it just started going down hill. Again I feel, no chemistry between them. They are just so blah. They don't seem like a couple. The power plays are at hand again. Trying for sure. The terrible women stay terrible and Luna still seems like a doormat to me. Stefan does nothing for me. He is just a domineering ambitious man who likes to be jealous for

The Book Junkie Reads . . .
Deceit. Betrayal. Sabotage. Intrigue. Loss. Confusion. Luna had her world turn upside down and inside out. She just can’t deal any longer. The world she thought she was beginning to understand and become a part of turned on her. Her life now has no direction. Luna gained strength and self-worth and determination thought all she had been through. She shows she was no longer a push over. Stefan learns a valuable lesson also.

Great follow up to the first. Doors are open and now the other side has t

This is by far one of my faves in erotic romance this year. Beautifully rendered with engaging protagonists that keep you hoping for a happily ever after. Absolutely loved seeing the softer side of Stefan and his love for Luna. Even though this is the second book in the series, it is perfectly readable on its own but best savored by reading them in order. Breathtaking love story that will leave readers begging for book three. A truly talented author and I look forward to seeing what she has in s ...more

*I was provided an ARC of Her Master’s Servant through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I am not compensated for my honest opinion.*

In book two of the Lord and Master series, Luna Gregory sets off on her own after being betrayed by her long-time mentor and the love of her life in one fell swoop. By accepting a job from someone she trusts, she gets as far away from Arborage Estate as she can. A project in Shetland convincing the local she

I LOVE this series!
We had a lot going on with Luna and Stefan in Lord and Master especially at the end, which is sort of where we pick up in this book. Luna was devastated by the betrayal of Stefan and the Marchioness so she left, and seriously who could blame her. Luna is now living in Shetland and working for Soren, Stefan's father, as a personal assistant helping with his new coat line that uses Shetland black sheep. With Miles and Miles between Luna and Stefan she hopes that she will get ov

I purchased this book in hopes of it being better than the first. I was extremely disappointed. Once again I felt this book was just going on and on. I could not connect with the characters. When they were having their ‘sexy time’ you had me flipping through the pages hoping to get it over with rather than reading it throughly. I also wish the author would have provided us readers with a translation on some of the phrases used in the book. Overall the book was well written and without major flaw ...more

WOW!! I just could not put this book down. As a continuation of Lord and Master it starts where that book left off. Luna is struggling in Shetland, working for Stefan’s father, having run from Stefan and Arborage and all that went on there. She is miserable, yet she manages to pull herself out of her funk at least when she is working with the sheep and the people of Shetland. And like so much else in Luna’s life, she puts others first and pushes herself to do her job and do it well! When she and ...more

Thank you to NetGalley, Smith Publicity and Kait Jagger for the ARC in exchange for an honest review. I appreciate it!

Oh, was I ever excited about this one.

It did not disappoint.

The so-called New Adult genre is rife with cliche. Girls who can’t take one step without falling over. Billionaire boyfriends who date only stuck-up horrid bitches until they meet the heroine. Following that, bitchy heroines without one redeeming quality – yet EVERYONE LOVES THEM.

Then, along comes Kait Jagger, and the ge

After a betrayal that brought about the end of their whirlwind relationship, both Stefan and Luna retreat to their separate corners of the world. Devastated and wrecked emotionally, Luna is at loose ends. She's left not only her boyfriend and her lover, but also her job and her home. She's surprised to find her next opportunity from an unlikely source - Stefan's own father. Tucked away among sheep farmers in Shetland, Luna tries to put Stefan and everything that happened between them far behind ...more

Oh my. I loved book 2 in the Lord and Master series. Last we saw of Luna, she had left behind Stefan and the Marchioness because of their betrayal so she left behind the only home she knew and it about killed her. Now we see her and she is working for Soren, Stefan’s father in Shetland as his personal assistant. She is living a half-life , praying that time will heal her heart and that the miles away will give her some peace and men her broken heart.
This book is so good. We get to see Stefan go

Her Master's Servant in the second book in the Lord & Master trilogy by Kait Jagger. From the title and the book cover this book looks like another one of those popular BDSM books - it isn't. The story follows the young and confident Luna Gregory in her stead as a personal assistant on an English estate (think the modern Downton Abbey). After being betrayed by the mistress and successor, Stefan Lundgren (also her love interest), she takes off to a wool farm in Scotland.

In the wet highlands s

I can say that this fits well into the genre of erotica, but with an actual storyline to go along with it. This isn't a standalone by any means. You'll miss out on quite a bit and feel rather lost if you go at it without first reading book 1. Jagger does a fine job of continuing the story and developing the characters in a way that feels well in line with who they are. This isn't your run-of-the-muck jumping in and out of every bed between Main Street and the edge of town. You'll find an actual ...more

Received in exchange for a honest review. This is the 2nd book in the series and it was just as great as the 1st one. I absolutely LOVE this author her writing is absolutely beautifully written. She keeps you entertained and enthralled till the bitter end. Luna and Stefan had some major issues in book one, they were broken up but Stefan works very hard for Luna's forgiveness. There are a few twists and turn and ended in another cliffhanger. With that being said it was still a hot, sexy, romantic ...more

This is book two in the Lord and Master's series. I do recommend reading them in order. After being betrayed Luna runs away to Shetland but can't get the memories of Stefan out of her mind. Stefan isn't willing to let Luna go. This is a fast paced suspense filled read, the characters are amazing, so deep and intense. The chemistry between Stefan and Luna is scorching. I was hooked from beginning to end. Great Read!
