When a vase goes flying and puts one of the grooms in the hospital for stitches, Evan knows his carefully planned wedding is ruined. It doesn’t help that the other groom threw the vase. Alas! What’s an event planner to do?

Turn a Christmas Eve wedding into a Christmas Eve party, of course!

Champagne Kisses is definitely on Santa’s Naughty List. (All the best things are.)

A full third of the book is sex. (No, I'm not exaggerating. Not complaining either.)

Evan and Richard, the brother of one of the
THREE HEARTS--Ho, ho, ho hum.

This barely made it to three hearts for me. Barely. It's not kinky. It's vanilla with an extra shot of vanilla bean sprinkled with sweet Christmas jizz and champagne kisses. Nothing wrong with it but I thought I was getting something along the lines of D/s. Not regular slap and tickle. I actually fell asleep during the long sex scene. I'm yawning now just thinking about it.

Let me back up before I get to my gripes. Because technically, the story follows a recipe

I seem to be on a holiday kick! I've only read one other Lynda Aicher book (an MM from her Bonds series) and loved it so I was stoked to get approved for this one.

This is the shortest of the holiday MM reads I've tried so far. And I think it could have used a bit more story and character development.

But the premise was fun. Evan is a party planner and the Christmas Eve wedding he's planned goes up in flames when the couple breaks up. In order to save his business he turns the wedding

My loins they were on fire!!

This was one delicious and decadent one night of sex!

Richard and Evan are clearly opposites in manner and appearance. Richard is rigid, conservative and oozes masculinity...while Evan is flamboyant, feminine and filled with fluid swagger. Yet the two are irresistibly drawn to each other, even if they are trying to deny it. But can one night together change their preconceived notions about each other? The answer to that is simple....hell yes!

These two

This was deliciously sexy.

Evan and Richard are attracted to each other, they finally give in, they have seeeeeeeeeeeeeeex (40 pages of sex), and when it’s time to end their one night stand, Richard is not willing to let Evan go.

Hot, sizzling sexy times. With feelings. It was wonderful.

Whoa, boy! That was a sexy little nugget of goodness.

Evan has recently started his dream job as an event planner, but his latest job - a Christmas Eve wedding for a wealthy and flamboyant gay couple - takes a turn for the worst when one groom cheats on the other mere hours before the wedding. Needless to say, the wedding doesn't go ahead, but Evan is able to convince the family to stay and have a huge Christmas Eve bash instead, ensuring Evan's reputation and future party planning

This was a short sexy hell of a read. The story was nice and smooth written
Evan putting a wedding together in four weeks. Richard the brother of the groom has to deal with the chaos after this wedding is canceled. Evan change this into a Christmas party
A strong masculine man and a feminine man. They are attracted to eachother but there is denial
When Richard loud out speak 'one queen is too much' Evan knows this will never work.
But given an second change
'Champagne Kisses' has the dubious distinction of being my 10th audiobook, however, I want to talk about the story before getting into the audio part of things.

As an event planner, Evan knows his stuff and he's sure that the Christmas Eve wedding he's been planning for the past month is going to make his career. That is until the vases start flying and one connects with the head of one of the grooms sending him off to the hospital and making the wedding simply off. It takes some quick thinking

This story is basically one prolonged sex scene, starting with some foreshadowing, segueing into hot foreplay, and ultimately ending with an explosive finish. Of course, this could’ve gone strictly the PWP route, but this was pleasantly and surprisingly full of great feels and character development. Yep. Not one complaint here.

So as the blurb says, these two have been eyeing each other for weeks, and when the wedding Evan has put blood, sweat, and tears into planning is called off

This book was alright.
The Gist of it is... Two men meeting... Hating Each other on sight... And then Falling into bed together..
The Bedroom Scenes were pretty hot, but listening to the audio version I just couldn't take this book seriously. lol. In my defense... I had a serious case of the Giggles while listening to this. LMAO. The Narrator has the most ridiculous **Not in a Bad way** dramatic voice which is perfect for Evans character, but totally didn't work for the more gruff and dominating

Champagne Kisses is a Christmas romance novella starring Evan and Richard. According to the author's note, they are an established, happy couple from her Wicked Play series, so this novella is perfect for those readers who've already met them in that series and wish to read their falling-in-love story.

The story takes place Christmas Eve when Richard's brother's wedding was supposed to take place, but due to the other groom's infidelity didn't. Evan, as a resourceful event planer, managed to

Evan Cleary has been planning a Christmas Eve wedding for weeks. This wedding could be his ticket to becoming an event planner for wealthy and well-connected patrons. But then the grooms break up hours before they're supposed to walk down the aisle, and Evan's plans are going up in flames.

Richard Patterson isn't surprised by his brother's dramatic antics, but he's still annoyed by it. Now he has to work with Evan to figure out what to do next. Evan, the effeminate and flashy event

Sweet Red Rose Petal LOVIN' Story

This book was so romantic! Evan and Richards love story, was adorable. I loved the glimpse of wording into Evan's past history with family. It made my heart cheer for him quickly. Richard was a sweetheart hands down, I loved him from page 1.

My downfall was the intro, and the writing style .I had to read it twice. I felt like I walked in the middle of a story. It took me awhile to find out who was who, and what was going on? The writing style was also not for

This book is just what i need when I'm bored and didn't know what to read.
It came on my Netgalley dashboard, and I'm glad I requested this one.
This is sweet and fluffy, and I loved how Evan persuaded Richard to admit that he fall for Evan. Femme or not.
Richard allergic to a effeminate gay guy, but well, Evan is just so adorable and patient, has a quality of someone Richard craved for.
Like it or not, he can't just let Evan go after one hot steamy night

I love flamboyant characters, however I didn't see that in this story.
Everything happened in one day, even though they met a month before we didn't get to see that, perhaps it would have been better if the book started when they met. That is my humble opinion.
It didn't help that it has mostly a very longgggggg sex scene that it lasted pages and pages. The rating is for the ending, it was lovely.

ACK! This was really good. Like really good and man am I a sucker for an opposoties attract story.

This is a short story so my review will mirror it.

Evan and Richard don't like one another but they do, you know? All that angry UST that is really just foreplay (cue the line from The Cutting Edge here) and when these two finally give in that anger turns to lust and wants are acted on and these two melted my heart and fired up my own lust.

This hit me at the right time. I just

Dealing with his brother finding out his groom cheated on him days before the planned Christmas wedding, Richard Patterson is in charge, with sexy as hell wedding planner, Evan Cleary, on making the transition from wedding to a party happen without a hitch. The two are very attracted to each other, but Evan is too flamboyant for Richard, and Richard is way too bossy for Evan. When the two are together though, it's obvious that
A short fun read that bubbled like fine champagne .... er, plus lots and lots of sex. What's not to like?

Hmm gorgeous cover, nice storyline... just wanted a different style of writing, more like a we instead of a he, narrated type!
This had great potential, but in the end, it was mostly just one really LONG sex scene, that I didn't fully buy. It was hot and all, but MC Richard was painted as this very uptight guy, who'd never even been to a bar to hookup, who turned into a very confident, toppy, dominant type once the clothes started coming off. I also thought he was pretty damned rude at the start, and if I were Evan, I wouldn't have given him another chance. But it had a sweet, HFN ending, which I guess is what these ...more

This story is a prequel to the Wicked Play series (all standalone, including this one) and is about an established couple that we see in that series. This is the story of how they met.

Richard and Evan are clearly opposites, but as in many cases, opposites can definitely attract. Evan is a somewhat effiminate event planner, clearly out and proud of it, and why he's attracted to the groom's uptight but super sexy brother Richard is beyond him. But when the wedding gets called off at the last

Evan is a event planner and his first big event goes wrong when both grooms break up and stop the wedding. Richard is one of the grooms brother who takes care of his family and is very set in his ways.

Okay these two men together... The steam OMG!!! It was just so damn hot! Now I will say this, the way this author wrote this steam between these two men was just I have no words.. It was honestly just so damn good. Then the was the sweet between Evan and Richard. The way everything in this book

A little disappointing for me. Excited when I saw it on Riptide's pages, cos I was hoping it would be at least as good as Bonds of Denial (Wicked Play, #5) by Lynda Aicher...unfortunately not, and that's probably what you get for high expectations, so it serves me right. There were typos and made up words too, such as remelting, sighs...Riptide are obviously not immune to the poor editing/proofreading syndrome it would appear.
