My takeaway from this book is understanding how collaborative filtering works and why my Spotify and Netflix accounts may be "ruined." Did not use XLMiner at all, only R.

Notwithstanding the book teaches the foundations of data mining, but in my opinion the software (XL Miner) is outdated
