Mosby's Comprehensive Review for Veterinary Technicians, 3rd edition introduces and reviews the material in each of your veterinary technology courses. Key topics ranging from basic and clinical science, diagnostics and applications, to professional practices and issues are presented in a user-friendly outline format that is ideal whether you're a new student or you're reviewing for your certification exams.
I have indeed read this cover to cover. 5 stars for its level of depth and organization. 0 stars for the amount of time it took and studying for VTNE in general. Cant wait to never have to open it again
It provided a vast amount of information in an organized, simple format. Because it is so full of information, I would recommend that anyone using the book as review material for the VTNE take more than two months to go through it. I also recommend that the learner use a question & answer book to help the information sink in better. For Android phone users, there is a nifty application called "StudyDroid," which includes previous users' shared notecards and also has the ability for the learner to create their own. Again, I would start with these as early as possible, probably adding key concepts and terminology earlier on (ideal: during their veterinary technology schooling program). Studying for the exam is not something that should be rushed so I recommend that all potential takers pick a time which works for them and allows for steady studying up until that point. Good luck to anyone about to take it!
