A further collection of Frasier episode scripts, finishing in season 8, which means we get to see Niles and Daphne get together. Overall it continues to be fantastic quality, this show was so funny. Personally I would not have included 'Frasier's Imaginary Friend' which is a frustrating episode, but there are undisputed classics here like 'My Coffee With Niles'.

For some reason, where there are old lines that were later rewritten, the ones that never work are those written for Niles. They just don't sound like him and it feels obvious that they need to be rewritten. Some of the scripts are word-for-word as they appear on screen, but the strangest of them all is 'Breaking The Ice' in which the entire final act was rewritten. It seems like an odd one to include in this Very Best Of, because while the finished episode is wonderful, what exists in script form is a lot weaker. It feels unfinished. It is interesting to see how the stories evolved though.

Anyway, another really entertaining read. Whetted my appetite for watching the show again.
