Lindsay Kendal I can't really answer that question. I guess it's down to the reader to decide. However, this is a completely different genre :)

I received an ARC of this book off the author, in exchange for an honest review.
For those of you who know her normal genre, be prepared for something very different from author Lindsay Anne Kendal. As with all of her books, she drags you into the story so you want to finish the chapter. But next thing you know, you're 3 or 4 chapters further, with no desire to stop!!!

While reading this book, I could feel myself being sucked in, as if I were watching it all happen. There were times I wanted to sh

Well worth reading

4star's, that's only because I've got to wait for the next, so really you deserve 5 star's, the book was gripping, the characters feel like family, you're completely drawn in, parts made me giggle, parts had me crying, mostly had me turning the pages at speed.

The Book Cove received this book from Lindsay for an honest review and I'm so thrilled to read another of her books. It starts off with action that is very different to the Bloodlines trilogy but just as gripping and bloody. I absolutely loved it from the beginning. It completely reminded me of watching a movie and just waiting at the edge of my seat for what would happen next. I wasn't very keen on the characters mostly because I disliked Declan and he's the main character but I absolutely love ...more

I am not a big fan of action books, therefore this review may be not as reliable. However, Lindsay’s other previous series was incredible!!

For me, A.T.O.N. was an okay read. I did not dislike it but I did not love it. I feel like I did not have a strong connection towards the characters. Also, the chemistry between the characters fell a little flat. Throughout the story, the book tended to be dialogue-heavy which, to me, makes the story quicker to read.

The characters were enjoyable. I didn’t rea

A.T.O.N is the first of an action series by Lindsay Anne Kendal and a February read for my book club, The Book Cove. I usually love when a story hits the ground running but the pace kept up too long and left me feeling disconnected to the characters. At some point the action segued to heavy dialogue. So heavy that at times I had to back track to figure out who was speaking. Maybe my disconnection to the characters impaired my ability to hear their voices. This also allowed me to the put the book ...more

So, I have read Lindsay Anne Kendal's work for awhile now. A.T.O.N. was AMAZING. Her best work yet. I will not go into book details in the review, but I can say.. WOW. This book had me gasping, and covering my mouth, as I would with a great movie. I was SO impressed with the depth of characters.. the conversations, and the action all the way through. With each book release you see this author grow, her stories come to life in your mind. This will be a book you will WANT to read, and will not be ...more

This isn't my usual genre to read, however, having read the rest of this authors work, I decided to give it a try.

I was very pleasantly surprised. The characters were very well written, the plot is rather intense, and I cannot wait for the sequel to be released.

Great story, interesting characters, and very well written.

This book has a lot of action, and some serious back stories. All in all, a very good read.
I'm anxiously awaiting part two.

I have lived in Droylsden, Manchester, all my life. I live with my parents, my younger sister, Cheryl, and her little girl, Faith.

I never knew what I wanted to do with my life until I began writing. This is my dream. I get most of my inspiration from music. I’ll sit listening to it and suddenly I’m no longer in the room. My stories play like movies in my mind, then I go and write them down.
