Things are changing again for the foursome. Can they weather these changes as they do everything else—together?

Things are changing again for Bishop, Knight, Rook and Jason. Not only is Jason going back to school, but Knight has bought a cottage on a lake several hours away, and none of them are quite sure what it all means for their family of four.

As Knight loses himself i

What an amazing & hot as fuck! Pun intended lol ;) this series was. I'm totally blown away by it. I've never read a M/M/M/M foursome story before. And I was curious to try one. But wasn't sure exactly how'd it come across. Amazingly Sean Michael's has made it work. I'm so attached to these uniquely amazing four guys. Bish, knight, rook & Jason.

I like how they all had their own distinct personalities. And their own strengths & weaknesses. Somehow they all balance each other out perfectly.

I love

So Knight bought the cottage. Now what? Seems like Rook and Jase don’t quite know how to process that information. In fact, they feel like things are about to change for all of them.

Despite the internal turmoil Rook and Jase are having, Knight and Bish are completely in their own little world. Knight is improving and Bish loves that he’s got the old Knight back. We get to see some more of Bish’s naughty side and how Knight responds to him. Reading these two and seeing their l

The fifth volume of the ‘Chess’ series is fun, full of heat, and a great finale for the story of four very different men who have now come together as a family. Just like the “endgame” in chess is the stage of the game when few pieces are left on the board, there are very few issues left between Jason, Rook, Knight, and Bishop. They have each found their place in the web of relationships that makes up their reality, the real test of whether they can stick together has come and passed (in book fo ...more

This is the fifth in a seres, and definitely needs to be read in order. After the dramatic events of book 3, and the recovery in book 4, I felt that book 5 was a bit of a holding zone - with the title it has, I guess I should have worried it was the end of the series, but thankfully, I knew there was more to come.

All through the books has been the indication that Bishop and Knight have a particular bond, and now so do R

Don't get me wrong, I am loving this series, BUT End Game just felt a little empty to me. There was sex and more sex with very little to none on plot. After the heavy plot in En Prise and in Helpmate, End Game just seemed a little fluffy.

Things are changing. Knight has found that the cabin Bishop has taken him to is the perfect place for him to paint. When he buys the place, Rook and Jason fear what this means for the f

This book was hard for me; I hated how most of the book the foursome was separated. These guys work so well as a foursome and it just seemed off and odd without them all together. Each couple worked well together but the dynamics are off the charts when they are all four there. It was a great book and I hate to see the series come to an end. I want more!

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

I love this foursome but changes in their lives has Knight and Bish staying in the country house while Knight works. I enjoyed seeing the two couples independently and watching them figure out how to make their foursome work. Ultimately, the all belong together and I loved reading their very lovely and very dirty story. I'm really going to miss Jase, Rook, Knight and Bish.

The fifth in the Chess Series - Whew! I just loved this series (a total of 7 books) - it's like porn with really lovable characters and an actual plot. Who else but Sean Michael can pull off a whole series ménage à quatre?

Six of the books focus on the same 4 MC's. But, the last book in the series, Pre-Game, is actually the story of how the original 3 (Rook, Knight and Bishop) met and can be read first; however, the rest all need to be read in order.

Note that #6 "The Piercer's Game" is almost a

Wow!!! So much love and passion. What I really loved about this was how you don’t know how their relationships will go until the end. Love these guys so much.

REVIEWED FOR PRISM BOOK ALLIANCE

I am so sad this series has come to an end!! I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea because of the sheer volume of wicked, kinky and downright delicious sex but this series was one of my naughty don’t need to concentrate on the plot too much secrets.

I have immensely enjoyed my time with these 4 men. They are all very different, they all needed and gave very different things to the relationship but they were all required to make the relationship work. From the momen

My, how things can change between one book to the next! Knight has recovered and in doing so, found his art again. The catch? His muse is attached to the beach house he’s just bought outside of the city and he plans to go there alone. While Bishop manages to tail along with Knight, Jason and Rook are left at home while Jason begins working towards a degree in physio. The men all still love each other but long distance relationships are hard between two

We pick up right were we left off, with them celebrating Knight buying the Cottage and Jason getting the News of school.

This was a great end, but it does jump time. We cover months in this one and by the end Jason is done with school, Knight is completely healed, Rook as left his daily running of his shop and Bishop is rounding everybody up.

We start by Rook and Jason equal parts thrilled and scared of the news that Knight bought the cottage. Jason can’t leave, and Rook is confused, he wants to s

I am a big fan of this series. After the last book I was dying to read this. Knight bought a lake house? Where does that leave our guys?

I was pleased to see that our family of four was still going strong.

I've admitted in other revies that Knight is my favorite. There is just something about him. And while I love the other three the storylines that revolve around him just make me so happy.

I'm also glad to see Bishop is going strong in taking care of Knight, Rook, and Jason.

Since I don't know if

It seems things are shifting around these four guys. Lives are changing and as Knight has healed he is still finding his own place back with his art. Jason is growing and while he doesn't want to give up his new family he wants to know he is pulling his own weight and earning his own way. We get to see all four of them be a bit scared with the changes, we see different relationship develop. Love the wrap up to this story where we seem them all reconnect and be strong than ever.

Jason really put me off on this series. I just couldn't warm up to him at all. Every time something happened and he would think it was because of him, Rook would sooth him and tell him that it wasn't but in my mind I couldn't help but think, yeah, it IS because of you...

I felt like he never loved Knight and he was just like whatever with Bishop. With Rook though, I felt like he put a wall between Rook and the other two. The threesome turned foursome had become two couples in the end.

I really didn't like this book much.. The guys seemed to split off into two's instead of the foursome that they are. Knight buying the cottage without consulting all the other guys didn't sit well. And then Rook buying the one next door? I did like that they all came back together in the end but...

Another 5+++++++++++ read !!!
I loved the fact that in this installment of the series we got to see how each of the guys worked as just a couple (Knight & Bishop, Rook & Jason) and how they complimented and needed each other as a couple and foursome too. Absolutely brilliant !!

I can't believe this is the end of the series. It just ends, much like the others. I kinda expected more. O'well. It is typical of a Sean Michael story, so I'm not really surprised. Just left wanting.

I admit I was rather grumpy when I read this so I'm going to do a re-read soon and give it a not read all five books in a row and get pissed off review.

Often referred to as "Space Cowboy" and "Gangsta of Love" while still striving for the moniker of "Maurice," Sean Michael spends his days surfing, smutting, organizing his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs.
